Used 1995 Toyota Tercel Consumer Reviews
The Best
I need cruise control!! This car has so much pep I have to watch the speedometer to not speed. Best car I've ever owned. Has 158k of which I put on about 32k and no problems. One problem is struts seem to be a weakness. But I gladly have it fixed because so much else is right. About 35-45 mpg. Great handling. No major problems
I WANT A NEW TERCEL.....
IT IS A SHAME TOYOTA QUIT MAKING THIS AWESOME LITTLE CAR. I BOUGHT IT WITH 70,000 MI AND PUT ABOUT 40000 MORE ON IT..NO TROUBLES..CAR SIMPLE RUNS. ECONOMICAL, RELIABLE, AND RELATIVELY ROOMY FOR A SMALL CAR AS I AM 6.3" AND ENJOY DRIVING IT WHEN KIDS DON'T HAVE IT. CABIN A LITTLE NOISY, BUT I RELISH THE DEPENDABILITY. PAID PREMIUM DOLLAR FOR IT USED...WAS A GREAT INVESTMENT...WENT THROUGH TWO KIDS AND TWO SETS OF TIRES..NORMAL MAINTENANCE ONLY. WOULD BY ANOTHER WITH NO RESERVATIONS! GREAT LITTLE CAR!
Good Quality and Fun for the Gas
I have owned my tercel since I was seventeen years old, I am 24 now and it has been extremely reliable. It was my first car, and it is still my car. I have traveled to and from college 365 miles each way about once a month for 3 years.I transfered colleges and still kept the tercel. Brakes are easy to replace, tires are cheap, battery is cheaper to replace, and it has NEVER left me stranded.
Good car to drive - Tercel
This is a good car with good mileage and needs less maintenance. Its fun to drive with and very reliable.
EconoBox
Was looking at a couple of econobox - settled on this car because of availability and excellent general consumer ratings. Also, this seems to be the most reliable car in the 1995 category according to JD Powers. If you find a good used one, grab it - this is a great car for the price.
