Used 2001 Toyota RAV4 Consumer Reviews
almost to 400k miles!
I'm waiting for it to break one day or don't start, so I can justify getting another one, but it annoyingly starts everyday ready to get to work. one owner, currently at 376k miles. maintenance wise, I replaced the ecu around 100k for the common transmission issue. I recently did shocks, steering rack, O2 sensors and power steering pump. It'll make it to 400k easily. I secretly love her :)

2001 Toyota RAV4
Acceleration of this vehicle is extremely poor, and is very poor when the engine is cold.Fuel economy is good, and is comfortable to drive. Other than the very poor acceleration of this vehicle, it's been a good SUV.

Time To Get rid Of My TOYota
Sadly disappointed in reliability department. Have had the brakes replaced numerous times and had to have to computer replaced at 10,000miles and reflashed again at 22,000 miles. Poor customer sat from toyota. I previously owned a 98 Camery and to date was the best vehicle that I owned. Sorry Toyota but after the service I received and the numerous problems with this vehicle I will GLADLY take my business elsewhere.
I LOVE IT!!!
I just bought this car with 125,000 miles on it. I know, by reputation, that this is pretty much just broken in for a Toyota. The car handles beautifully. I have been using it for business, and I have no complaints. I have always wanted one, and now, I FINALLY HAVE IT!! Peppy, and FUN to drive! I'll drive it until the wheels fall off, which I am sure will be a long, long time!
