2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid LE 4dr Sedan AWD (1.8L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

After having a 2022 Corolla, I just purchased a 2024 Corolla LE Hybrid. Bought with Convenience Package which includes Alum. Wheels, blind spot Monitor and heated side view mirrors, Push Button Start and Smart Key. All these features help make this car VERY nice car. This car is EXACTLY what you are buying it for----Toyota build quality and reliability, fantastic gas mileage on regular gas, smooth composed ride, terrific safety features, 2 years of maintenance free and excellent sound and media. Is this a new Corvette-NO, is this a New Tahoe with the capacity it has-No.....it is Exactly what you want at a fair price that wont break the bank. I have had 2 weeks now and am getting legitimate 52 MPG. Awesome! If you want a sports car---then buy a sports car--if you want a Large, big capacity SUV--then buy one. If you want a great, affordable fantastic gas mileage car--then buy a Corolla hybrid.

Purchased a LE edition. Surprised to see that the car had Toyota plastic weather mats, comparable to the weather tecks i ordered for the car. They were returned, 409$ canadian saving. I also have a 2021 kona ev. The Toyota is much more roomier on all fronts. Awd for us Canadians. Hybrid make more sense than only electric in cold weather. Trust me on that one. Nice reliable car.

Happiness is reliability

2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid XLE 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

I purchased a 2023 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Limited in mid May 23. By mid June it had been in the shop for battery issues three times when they decided to keep it. Couldn't fix it so Hyundai agreed to buy it back. It took four months but I received the entire purchase price. While the Elantra had more "stuff" (ventilated seats, 10.25" screens, better acceleration plus a few other items) the 2024 Corolla Hybrid XLE is just worry free. I enjoy a smoother ride, the optional JBL 800 watt stereo and most importantly peace of mind. I don't understand how reviewers don't take into account the proven reliability of Toyota when grading vehicles. Sure, others may have lots of tech features but if the car doesn't operate what good is it. Also, it may have a great warranty but if the manufacturer takes four months to honor it ..... I suggest reading owners forums prior to purchasing a new vehicle - wish I had listened to their advice. I have a boring Corolla appliance and am very pleased.

Toyota is the go to brand when it comes to hybrids and PHEVs. They know their stuff. Their hybrid systems are so seamless, efficient and reliable. Safety Sense 2.0 is a good system. Even being a car guy, I decided to get the Corolla Hybrid because I can trust it will be a reliable car for years. PROS: - Good full LED Highlights with distinct accent lighting - Responsive Infotainment that runs CarPlay with no issues at all (no crashing etc, which even happens with other systems from other brands). - Crisp and attractive gauge cluster display with nice safety feature customization, and hybrid system feedback when you turn off the car (cool! :) ) - Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, and BSM and RCTA - Reliable Smart Key System - Decent Interior Build Quality -Good Interior space CONS: -Door panels have hard plastics, but are built well; some NVH too -Infotainment is not as high res as other systems but still works well

I just bought a 2022 Corolla Hybrid. It replaced a 2011 Corolla LE which replaced a 2001 Corolla LE which replaced a 1996 Geo Prizm (built on the Corolla chassis). Each has been incrementally better than the earlier model but the Hybrid is a substantial improvement from the 2011 model. To begin with, the gas mileage is amazing - nearly 700 miles on a tank of gas, with city mileage double what I got with previous cars and highway mileage about 15 mpg better. The car is bigger than the previous versions - more along the lines of a Camry from a few years ago, with comparable increase in the interior space. The trunk is noticeably larger. The seats seem bigger and are definitely more comfortable, and the back seat has much more legroom (as confirmed by my grandson). The technology - particularly the safety features - is considerably better than what the 2011 Corolla offered. The audio system is quite good. I find that the car's acceleration is better than that of my 2011 Corolla. This is certainly not a dragster, but it seems to have plenty of pep as far as I am concerned. I admit that I am an old codger and my "car" days are behind me. (I gave up my dream of owning a Porsche a long time ago.) However, this Corolla Hybrid is one of the nicest vehicles I have ever owned. And what I find most surprising is that the sticker price of this car was just about the same as that of my 2011 Corolla, even though it is actually much more well-appointed and, as noted, will be much more economical to drive.
