Used 2021 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Software running the car SUCKS
I traded a 2018 Accord Touring for this. The software comparison: Accord=PS5, Avalon=Atari The Navigation is usually wrong and it will take you in circles. No more Toyota or Honda for me. They both sell vehicles on their past performance/endurance. They both are overpriced and not good value for the $$$ UPDATE: When I got this vehicle it was getting 45 on average. Not so bad for a car only rated at 43 all around. Best was 48mpg. Then came winter. Down to 37-38 range, but not it's usual. I blamed the cold weather. Now it's raging summer and the mileage is still in the high 30's. I would venture to say it's all in the gasoline and I'm probably right on the money there. Not that oil companies would do that......yeah right. Now the software running in the car. The features are easy to compare. I traded in a 2018 Honda Accord Touring. (gasoline engine) the software and features the software offered compared to the Toyota Avalon LTD. is a PS5 to an Atari. The Toyota being the Atari. Even it's nav sucks. Never tells you what side of the street your address is on (a real treat in the dark of the night) and it's had me going in circles more than once. In other words, there aren't any updates. Dealer says it's up to date. NO MORE Honda, NO MORE Toyota. They were both top of the line disappointments.
