Great price on a well built sedan. We were reluctant at first even consider a Suzuki, but after taking it on a long road trip, we were pleasantly suprised about how well it handled, gas mileage, and it's smooth ride. The only drawback is the lack of cruise control. By far, you get a lot of car for your money. Very satisified with this purchase.

I can't believe what I paid for this car and what the options are. Very quick, no power problems. I just talked my mother in law into the forenza station wagon. Don't spend the extra money on the Honda or Toyota you would just be throwing it away. Two children fit nicely into the back with the travel tv, have taken long trips with no probs and how about the warranty? I paid more for a new car in 1991 that didn't have half the options. Wife loves it and we will be looking at the XL 7 to replace the grand cherokee because of the quality and cost of our first suzuki.

Suzuki's are GREAT!!

This is my 3rd Suzuki. I bought a 1999 Grand Vitara which I couldn't bear to give up when I bought my Forenza, It has 125,000 miles on it and I've onlyreplaced the tires and brakes. The people that can't get great MPG on a Suzuki must check their driving patterns. I get 35 mpg on the Forenza, 25 mpg on the Grand Vitara and got 30mpg on the Tracker. I fail to understand why Edmunds and ConsumerReports don't rate them higher. I had a Nissan Pathfinder before my Grand Vitara and couldn't wait to get rid of it after 3 years!! When they told me how much it was I said SOLD!!! and I had been looking for months! I bought it on the spot.

When you get down to it, it is hard to beat the Forenza. Power everything, reliable, good handling, and plenty of cash to spare. Far better then the Spectra which doesn't even come with A/C standard unless you move up to the EX trim and Honda quality for less then its Korean counterparts....ie Hyundai and Kia.

I would have to say that this little car has very good fuel economy (28/31mpg). I bought the car new and have really put it through its paces. I have taken it from southern Kentucky down to Miami at about 1100 miles, three times. Most of the miles put on this car are highway. A/C went out after about 36000 miles with the warranty running out at 35000. The seat cloth pulls away and doesn't matter if you put it back on track or not. Its a five speed so that may be why I am gettting better gas mileage than most of the reviews. I had to take it in for some recalls with the water pump and my dim lights went out because of the wirring harness. Overall not impressed but it's still running.
