Saabs are good cars.
The Saab 900's are great cars. Period. The quality is the most noticable feature. This car is sporty and fun to drive with top of the line features for it's time. A great car for the money. Anyone interested in a great used car, this is the one.
Fun ragtop
I bought this car at a dealership and it was a trade-in. I knew at the time that it was a rebuilt vehicle but the car was mint. It has been very reliable with minimal problems. Overall, I would suggest if anyone is in the market for a cheap older convertable that isn't tacky looking or doesn't want to spend tons of money on repairs, the Saab 900S is the way to go. The only thing better is the Turbo convertable.

A fun classic, but needed a few changes.
only 1 owner, bought at 49,000 miles. Was weekend car. The stock CD/radiocombo died 2 months after purchase due to a design flaw in the amp. Only had a bad thermostat, but needs a new master cylinder for clutch. Other than that, works fine. Heats up quickly in winter.A lot of body flex, but thats a given for a convertible. Its a blast w/ the turbo, but something might be broken w/my car b/c it gets around 13 MPG currently. Excellent cornering, only problem is the low ground clearance. Reliability varies, can get 60,000 or300,000 out of various parts, it depends on your luck. Beware, if you can't get apart second-hand, a new/refurb part will cost you.
A quality vehicle
Had it since day one drove it as a first car for 3 yrs nows its asecond vehicle . Economical to run comfortable to drive ans SAFE to operate in ALL conditions . I'm a Alpine Skier am use this as my ski car . Its very stable in all conditions , Holds a TON of gear and get great mileage . Best 4 seater convertible on the market. Can fit 2 big kids in the back and enjoy a whole day cruising. On the weekday can also do my regular commute. Good deal used. SOL if you bought new.
