Brand New 2020 Ram 3500 Laramie Longhorn
Was super excited to by this truck in December of 2020!! Had all the bells and whistles! In February, I started taking it around the country for work. The first issue was the power steering going out. It took Dodge several weeks to get the part delivered to where I was. Then a month or so later, I was crossing over Mt. Hood and when I got to the bottom of the mountain, the transfer case decided not to work anymore. We used Onstar and they had to tow my truck to the nearest dealership and my 40ft trailer to the nearest truck stop. Once they confirmed that I was in fact the transfer case, I was informed that it would take 2 weeks for the part to come in. On top of the 2 weeks, the rep for FCA wasn't very transparent about everything and lacked in communication skills. Two weeks turned into 4 weeks. For 4 weeks I was stranded in Oregon, not able to work. For 4 weeks I had to stay in a hotel. There was nothing FCA ( warranty) could do until the part came in and the "file was closed". Luckily I was prepared for such a large inconvenience. I was reimbursed for hotel stay and they paid for the rental. But there was no replacing my income for 4 weeks....... and these last few days, I've gotten the coolant low light on the dash. I kept having to top off the coolant level only to have it start overheating. Brought it to the dealership. They said it was "just ta bad coolant cap". Charged me a $140.00 diagnostic fee only to leave and drive a few miles for the coolant light to come back on.... So, of course, I turned right around to take it back. I'm just disappointed because I speak so highly of the truck and this brand. The first truck I purchased a few years ago was a 2014 Ram 3500 Laramie and had a bad experience with it. Whatever you do, don't let the pretty interior or all the features distract you. I'm not buying anymore Ram vehicles. These trucks aren't consistent! My business solely depends on the condition of my truck and I'm tired of loosing money

Less that 30 days of satisfaction
I Purchased a new Ram 5500 specifically to haul horses to equestrian events (our main hobby). Less than 30 days after delivery, I set out with horses from North Carolina to Oklahoma. On the way home, my "water in fuel" light came on, then the "service exhaust" light came on, then the truck died. Now I know that Ram can't control bad fuel, but here is where my complaint begins. I paid to have the truck towed to a dealer (and I paid to have my horses and trailer towed home). After two weeks, the dealer says they don't have the tools to fix the truck, and Ram Customer Service won't call me back. I would give zero stars if that had been an option.

Junck!!! Stay away
I purchased this truck last month, and it has been in the shop almost since then for a transmission problem. I have called FCA support daily for over a week and a half, and no one has called me back. When I call, if they tell me my rep is busy, I ask to speak to someone else, and they always tell me that it's not possible. I can not stress enough that this truck and company are terrible.

Powerhouse
This 6.7 is way more than the 18 I had. Incredible truck, tow easier, fair on fuel, changes made inside are more comfortable

RAM beats them all!!!
Let me get started by saying my 2020 Ram 3500 SRW HO pulls like a dream and handles like an HD truck should. Please note this is a Tradesman but came with all the bells and whistles, such as 360 camera, blind side, LEF lights, spray in bed liner, 5th wheel prep, etc. The list goes on. No truck is perfect and these companies need to make money too, but RAM made things right by recalling the dreaded CP4. That in itself should make RAM owners proud. Should the CP4 been used in the first place, NO, but RAM took it on the chin and is replacing mine free of charge. The chitter chatter on these sites are always negative, and yes, there are instances of lemons, happens with all brands. I don’t depend on my truck for income and feel for the guys that do when issues arise, but from a truck perspective, my RAM gives me all that I need and more. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase and the real review will be in 10-15 years, hopefully. As of today, I would recommend this truck as well as the RAM brand to anyone.
