4k rpm issue under excessive throttle
Just writing this incase any 23 owners have this issue. So I live in the country. 55mph roads. Well there's this 1 certain area near my house that this issue happens the most at. I'm at a stop sign waiting for traffic. When it's clear enough to go I have to give it heavy throttle to get up to 55mph. It's a busy street so it's more throttle than normal. When I do this about 1 out of every 5 times about, the trucks rpm bar stops at 4k rpm and won't switch gears causing me to only go 35-40 mph. The truck sounds like it's just keeps reving up with my foot on the gas but the bar stays at 4k. I have to wait a few seconds till the revs comeback below 4k then it works fine and it'll drive normal. Now this is a safety issue. Had someone almost rear-ended me because I couldn't get up to the speed limit. So I took it into the dealer and they think it's a computer issue in the trans. They have to try and duplicate the issue then contact ram to see what they can do about this. The service manager seemed very concerned and eager to get to the bottom of this for me. However I'm now without a truck till they do. I may come back and update with what they find and hopefully they can fix it and don't have to enact my states lemon laws on this truck. Everything else about the trucks amazing. 23 ram 1500 rebel gt 5.7 etorq. Fully loaded and ordered from factory. Basically the truck I've always wanted and waited 6 months for...here's to hoping it's not to bad and that ram isn't run by [non-permissible content removed].

Amazing vehicle except for 1 glaring exception
As far as half ton trucks go, you will not find a better ride and better creature comforts for the price. However, here is the problem: The vehicle is rated to tow 11000lbs but the truck comes with 4 ply passenger tires which are unsafe to tow more than 4000lbs with. Most new buyers who want to tow just replace the tires but I call bullcrap on that. It's a brand new vehicle and I should not have to drop another $1200 just to use the truck for the purpose intended. Epic fail by Ram.

Dodge is a terrible company
I bought a 2024 Limited, 6k in miles on it and its already broken and in the shop with 2 other recall issues. I have spent 3 hours on hold with no answers. Dodge makes crap cheap vehicles and tell the owners to pound sand. Will never buy Dodge again and hope others don't either.

Dashboard falling apart and RAM won't fix
This is my second 1500 Limited and I love the way they ride. The first one had 150K miles and no major issues. I upgraded to a 2019 to get some of the new safety features. Unfortunately, this truck has had multiple issues the most irritating of which is a dashboard that delaminated at 36K miles. Even my little podunk dealer said it was an issue and has seen several with this problem. Ram said it was out of warranty and basically too bad. I didn't pay 60K for a truck for it to fall apart in 2 years. Knowing that this is a well known issue I have been waiting for them to actually man up and fix the issue, but no such luck. I Have spoken with RAM several times and they could care less. You can't even order the part if you did want t pay the $2K to have it replaced. Pathetic customer service from RAM.

Stalling issues with 2700 miles
My 2023 Ram 1500 v-6 etourqe randomly stalls and sets the ebrake. Also the Brake stop start keeps throwing check engine lights. Have an appointment at dealership 9-5-23. So I will see what comes of my second trip to the dealer. Before my first Oil change.
