I purchased this car used about 4 years ago. In my time owning and driving this car I have had no issues. I make sure I perform regular oil and transmission fluid changes which I believe is essential to ensuring long-term reliability.

Major Engine Failure at 48K Miles!!!

I’ve driven Nissan vehicles for over 30 years, but my experience with the 2019 Rogue has been incredibly disappointing. At just 48,243 miles, I was told the engine needs a full replacement due to a blown head gasket—a $10,500 repair. This car has been carefully maintained, never abused, and is still well within the mileage of the powertrain warranty. Yet Nissan refused any assistance or goodwill support. I expected far more from a brand I’ve trusted for decades. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend the Rogue—or Nissan—to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle.
