Used 2011 Nissan Murano Consumer Reviews
Very Safe
In was hit on the driver's side by a drunk driver. Thanks to God, my seat belt, and the design of the car, I only received minor injuries. My Murano was declared a total lost. Keep up the good work.
Ultimate Getaway From the world
I am a long time owner within the Nissan Corp. But this SUV tops all others who try and match it, for it's price. I bought the LE, because I figured, why not go all the way, or just not go at all. I love this truck, there isn't anything that I wouldn't want to change, except for the fuel economy, many other car companies have bigger SUVs, getting better gas mileage. I understand there is a diesel one in Europe, but who knows how long that will take to get to the US. But all in all...what a great truck, test drive one, and you'll fall in love with it, the moment you get in, and the leather seats embrace you, and keep you safe on the road. Enjoy, and happy hunting for that perfect car.

Defecitve Throttle
The Murano had less than 5 miles when purchased. 6 months later, A/C went out. Diagnosis:Defective Hose. 8 months later, throttle accelerates on its own, which prevented me from braking. Luckily, I was able to kill the engine. Diagnosis:Defective Throttle. Car was towed to Baker Nissan. They suggested I call the dealership I purchased vehicle from. Said "If they care, they will buy it back". Called Sterling McCall, they said there was nothing they could do & directed me to Nissan Corp. Even after the Toyota issues, they said it has been fixed & denied the request for a buy back. Instead, they offered me a service program to make me feel better.
Good choice
After testing several SUVs I found the Murano and Ford Edge at the top of the list. The Edge shows a nice screen with tons of options but after a test drive the Murano won over the Edge. More power, quiet transmission, more leg room on rear seats, very good radio. I use the Music Box to store my favorite songs. Rear visibility is not good, the rear view camera helps. At the end I bought the SL trim.
Absolutely love this vehicle!
After many weeks of research & test drives, I purchased a 2010 Murano SL with leather, moonroof, bluetooth, ipod, upgraded Bose stereo, Homelink, backup camera. I researched and drove: Honda CRV, Subaru Outback; Subaru Forester; Volvo XC60; Volvo XC90; VW Tiguan, Kia Sorento and (but didn't drive) Audi Q5, Rav4, so a very broad spectrum. The is by far the best value: more luxurious than Subaru, Honda, Rav4 and Kia; more for the money than Volvo and Audi; more space than a Tiguan; same or more power than most; same or better mpg than most. Nissan reliability (vs. Audi, Kia & VW). I love this vehicle and highly recommend it!
