Murano AWD- a great cross-over SUV

After looking at all the crossover vehicles (Pilot, Highlander, Murano and Toureg), we selected the Murano. All the vehicles offered great rides and performance, but we didn’t like the looks of the Honda. It looked very generic SUV. After owning the Murano for five months, we are very pleased. We have had no problems and we just love this vehicle.

Murano New Look-Good SUV Mileage

Nicely styled, good instrumentation, the GPS system is exceptional. ONE BAD ITEM:The SAT XM radio was suppose to be part of my car audio package, but was NOT included, Nissan has refused to resolve this matter-even though 5 dealers said the would be included. NO XM. Otherwise a nice car overall! Comfortable seats, good driving visibility, mileage averages about 20,0 much better than most SUV's. CVT transmission has an unusual feel, however seems to work quite well. Handle well in the snow!

The engineering in this new Murano is just amazing. The vehical dynamic contol system keeps this vehical very stable on snow slick roads. It is the most comfortable, safe, quite and reliable vehical I ever had. I was a fleet manager for Chevrolet for almost 20 years and I've driven more cars and trucks then most people. This is truly the new trend for the automotive industry to follow. Crossover SUV

The Perfect Compromise

This car is the perfect compromise between sport and utility for a family. Great interior room and incredible looks and performance. Incredible ride. CVT is smooth and powerful - and I love the Ds gear for added power. Even during break-in, I can average 27 mpg on some highway trips. Have had none of the "infamous" rattle problems ... yet (fingers crossed). "Wind buffeting" problems have been fixed - no problems with sunroof or rear windows down at speeds over 45 mph. Got a great deal - invoice in Chicago. Contact me at shindig@lycos.com for more info. For the money and features, blows away the competition.

Its a gem. I'm totally pleased and excited by it. I worried about it being a Nissan, but their quality has definitely improved. Its performance and comfort are comparable to the RX and a better deal. And I cant say how much more appealing it is, design wise, than any of its class competitors.
