2016 Nissan Maxima Platinum 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

When I purchased my 2016 Nissan Maxima Platinum Edition in June 2015 I FEEL IN LOVE. I have always owned Maxima's. There are two things that I am disappointed in with the cost of this car. The passenger front seat should be able to move all ways just as the driver's seat (it only goes back & forth not up and down. so its sits very low) & the back seat is not spacious at all. The look of the car is very sporty. Because I wanted the panoramic roof and the LED headlights I had to get the Platinum since the other styles only offer one or the other. Overall a great car..

Cramped Front Seat

This would be a great car except for the front seat. It's cramped & you have to been your leg sideways to reach the accelerator pedal. The middle front section is way too wide & the pedals are too far offset to the right. I recently rented one & my right leg was hurting after about 30 minutes. It's hard to get in & out as well. The front seat needs to be redesigned.

Decided getting this car brought a 3.5 Platinum. It is a good looking car even can drive it to baseball games and NFL FOOTBALL Stadiums has everything that so equipped in all of the bells and whistles. Navigation system and ventilated and heated seats are impressive including panoramic moon roof - Bluetooth work for my Samsung Galaxy S6 electronics seems better in this new car. Maxima performance is amazing keep it Sport mode only) - CVT is incredible as car got new 300 horsepower 3-5L engine faster acceleration a smoother aggressive ride. I love how comfortable these seats they absolutely hug you only complaint interior size is smaller feels little snugged other than I satisfied with fit and finish materials. New technology is excellent just liking my car it's beautiful on outside new design of exterior - LED Lights got more slimmer it's much more fun to drive. Incentives, prices and values are bringing this car down I don't know seems sells on these cars aren't too shabby well at least times will changed after while but I am glad purchased my Platinum it's a great looking vehicle compared to other luxury cars as non-expensive brand like Nissan. So far recently purchased a few weeks ago blown away on everything inside and out of this car new looks and a outstanding interior design Nissan has improved a lot on this car it's better than compared with last model new model is a computer car advanced handles better more quiet on highway definitely stylish in lots new upgrades.

Everythings is great---if only it didn't rattle

There is so much I love about this car---design, styling, acceleration, interior appointments, handling, general comfort. But unfortunately it is sort of ruined by too little attention to quality when it comes to a quiet driving experience. I've never had a new car that has this many really severe and irritating rattles and noises. The worst, perhaps, is a sound in the driver door or right pillar that starts over 50 mph and is wind related. I think I isolated it to the rocker panel which must catch wind and then rattles like marbles in a rock polishing machine. The dealership didn't do a wall job on it, but also didn't solve the problem. The other two really annoying rattles happen when it gets below freezing. There is an annoying clack somewhere in the back every time you hit a bump. It's loud. I thought it was related to the spare, but it's not. The dealership replaced the rear stabilizers under warranty but it didn't help. My own mechanic found the problem--a fuel line running on top of the gas tank wasn't isolated and slapped the tank over each bump. The third rattle also occurs at road bumps or expansion joints. It comes from the instrument cluster, and sounds like a pack of Tic Tacs over every little bump in the road. For me, that is enough to ruin the driving experience. Despite liking nearly everything else about the car, I probably wouldn't buy another, and this is my fourth Maxima.

2016 Maxima Platinum

I planned on waiting for the 2016 Honda Accord Touring to arrive, but fell in love with the Maxima as soon as I saw it. This is a beautiful car with plenty of technology inside and out. They spent a lot of time redesigning this car and hit the nail on the head on almost everything. The only real complaint I have is leg room. I'm a big guy (6'1", 235 lbs) and like more room than the Maxima offers, but I'm not uncomfortable at all. I got a good price, because I used Truecar to get a good price. I paid $37,500 for the Platinum model.
