Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration commentsSome front-wheel slip at launch -- presumably before power is fed to rear wheels -- then immediate hook-up. Good power above 4,700 rpm -- sounds like a two-stage manifold engine switch at that engine speed.
Braking ratingAverage
Braking commentsSignficant pedal fade on last run, but distance was unaffected.
Handling ratingGood
Handling commentsSkid pad: Torque biasing feels odd with stability control off. Can truly feel it working in sometimes unnerving ways. Slalom: Very aggressive stability control hurts an otherwise capable chassis. Turn it off and there's a little Evo in this Outlander.
