my first luxury car
this is my fifth car, but first luxury one. I test drove Audi, Lexux, Infinity and they all are good, but there was something special about Merc. Infinity exterior was little bland, Lexus looked just like my 9 year old camry (BTW I love Camry). Thanks a lot to Edmund, I did not have to negotiate a lot. Salesman did not believe what I was asking for and he checked the TMV at Edmund (I just substracted extra 3K, since Merc was running promotion).
Awsome
Low mileage, maintenance history, good inspection of condition, reliablity issues for model you like. Patience to find the best deal.

E63 Love, but hate the transmission
Engine - bonkers! Sounds great, but guzzles gas like a drunken horse when you floor it. But the transmission sucks - feels like it's slipping from a standstill, if you leave it in Comfort, then shifts like it is made of rubber bands, but if you go into Sport, the idle downshifts are sometimes quite violent. Not sure I trust it... Rest of car - super solid

Old and Respected
This is a great version of the E350. It is one of the last years that it is full size. The new 300 series and the new 350 are smaller. My only complaint is that the Mercedes dealer I purchased it from, did not update the software for the GPS system.
i do not know
I love this car and hope it increases in value, in time
