This is my 2nd Mercedes wagon I lived the last one a 2006 E500 but it was a maintenance nightmare. I have had this 2012 2 years and it has been a dream. Regular service and tires are the only expenses. Would not trade for the world

Plush, sleek, fast and refined. Just bought a 2012 E550 Cabrio in the Bay Area and drove it home to LA on the PCH. It was a day in heaven. As a Mustang 'vert lover, it was amazing to go 80 down the highway in 60 degree weather in comfort and on the phone with the top down! Drivability is all around awesome and this car coddles the driver. There are some very quirky ergonomics that will take some getting used to. It will take time to get used to the forest of control stalks on the left to keep from hitting cruise control when signalling or accessing some menus on the left wheel buttons, others on the center controller. But, every function is readily accessible without distraction and minimal effort. The seats are firm but comfortable, but look for the upgraded seats when shopping. The plushness and power combined with a very active suspension interventions in tight handling build confidence quickly, but take some adjustment coming from an American car. Must have features are the AMG performance package with the nice wheels and vented brakes, as many of the driver assist features as you can find, the finer seats and leather. The base Harman Kardon Audio is amazing.

the car looks great but you will hear the road noise and feel the road not quite ride as you expect from a luxury car vs BMW 535i is very quite comfortable ride and stylish look and has many options ( BMW 535i is the winner) . The E350 sport internal is stylish and comfortable with sporty feel. i did not like the luxury model felt outdated.

I have my MB since Dec 2011, so far is ok, somebody ask me if my MB was diesel??? I noticed that the engine is a bit noisy (tapping) I went to dealer and they said that is ok...At the beginning got confused a couple times with the turn signals I was turning the cruise control On. Star push button is only offer at #2 package, wife has a real cheap car that it has a push button I did trade my 2009 BMW 335i convertible for this one and the Tech package on the BMW give more gadgets for the money
