Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration comments"Quickest" runs were accomplished without brake torque -- just wood it and go. Tach was a little slow, but the transmission still shifted a few hundred rpm before redline.
Braking ratingPoor
Braking commentsPedal felt very soft on first run then improved on following runs. Antilock brakes were also not easily engaged on first run. There was noticeable fade during braking following the acceleration runs.
Handling ratingPoor
Handling commentsSmooth, slow inputs are the only hope on the skid pad. Anything else upsets the chassis and engages stability control, which cannot be defeated. The key to the quickest runs in the slalom is to stay below stability control limits and be very smooth with steering inputs. There is lots of roll.
