TERRIBLE FUEL ECONOMY but perfect otherwise

We love the vehicle. We purchased it instead of the GLE450 and we are really happy. It is a very luxurious and feature rich car. The best feature is the phone as a key which is market leading. Only the Tesla model 3 has this to my knowledge. The car is great for two or three kids in car seats or boosters because of the 4 seat rear configuration with walk though. More space then any other car in its class and with the 3rd row deployed we can still fit a double stroller in the trunk. Our only complaint is the fuel economy. It is terrible. 200 KMs city driving for a $70cad tank.

Purchased in March 2020. Love the style and looks of this SUV. Of which this is my first American car. Guess I should have stayed with a foreign one..With ONLY 4600 miles, ( glad I was 2 miles from home) a month ago, the RED ALERT lit up my dash as the "overheat symbol was fully in RED.. I immediately pulled over safely, again lucky for this..car was not leaking any fluids, nor smelled of any hot smoke...called dealer, Lincoln towed to dealer.. In shop over 2 weeks. As they stated it was an "electronic" issue. they did remove the intake manifold as well. Now getting car home. My husband decided to check oil level..after car sat 12 hours.. Well, it was OVER the dip stick maximum line by a Quart..Not sure what /how these service Dept. train their mechanics...Drove car over 300 miles. After sitting a day, check oil again.. it is now UNDER the maximum line. As well as coolant was under maximum line.. Looked under car in garage, and yes, there was dripped coolant...All of this was started once they "supposedly" repaired the "over heating issue"...All in all the car is USING/BURNING oil now...So back to the dealer it is.. As well as a rattle in passenger seat, that they cannot seem to get fixed right...Not a good start on an EXPENSIVE car.....We shall see. .Do your research before you buy!!!!!!!

A lot of options to choose from. Highly recommend the massaging seats, 360 degree camera and air shocks. The Aviator is beautifully appointed, luxurious and comfortable. Only draw back is headroom. A tad bit technical but once you understand the gadgets and how to use them.... you will soar. I've been pleasantly surprised with this car.

I moved up from MKX to Aviator, seeking more space, and hoping to get a great vehicle. So far, after 1000 miles, it’s a huge hit! Just big enough, but still easy to park and drive. Powerful when you need it. Seat options through the roof... high quality in all aspects. Love it! UPDATE 31,000 miles, 2 plus year in. Still love it. All the above are still true, and now, I can’t imagine driving long distances without the driver assist, and heads up display. Mileage is what mileage is. 20s on highway, 14-16 around town. Comfort is still great. Service has been stellar…..

Purchased a new Lincoln Aviator in September 2020. It's been at the service department many times and there are some issues that they are not able to fix. The steering is not positive at high speeds and the car wants to wander. The audio system is constantly going out when I'm playing music from my phone on I-tunes. The service manager finally admitted that Lincoln does not have a fix for these problems at this time and and does not know when they will. Prior to that they would simply tell me that they couldn't get to get the problems to occur while they were testing for them. I also experienced the windshield wipers coming on when the sun was shining and no rain in sight. Lastly, after receiving delivery I found streaking in the paint under the clear coat on the hood .The entire hood had to be repainted. I was told that Lincoln had paint problems with the Aviator. I paid a lot of money for a lot of trouble. My next step is to try and have Lincoln take it back.
