Quality

This is a beautiful suv!! Lexus has definitely put out a quality vehicle. However it’s cargo space is limited and it’s overall back seat space is that as well. The new designed front grill is far superior to older models and was the selling point for me. I wish I could get better acceleration possibly more power from this engine but it’s not to say everything about this suv is quality.

Great ride but disappointing

Ok here's the update (01/6/2021) - 30K miles. A big disappoint (for a Lexus) as I've had it in for recalls, sunroof issues, wiper issue, Driver's side inside door handle broke, and other minor interior issues. Tires lasted only 20K (others have the same complaint on User Forum - and yes I rotate them). Not great in the snow. On top of that, the infotainment system acts irradicably (No sound out of the radio when it's extremely cold - have to restart the car) and no upgrade available to Apple Car Play. Tough to defrost the front windshield. Can't really haul anything that sticks out the back. Ice or snow on the sensors causes havoc and the car to beep at you and beep at you and beep at you (you get the idea). Would be helpful if they squared off the back from a cargo perspective. Do my own service and everything is easy to get to and the brakes aren't even 1/2 worn. Gas Mileage is averaging 25 MPG. Lowered to a 3. Won't buy this again. ---> end of update What I like: Ride, Interior materials, Comfort, MPG, space, and very quiet. What I don't like: Infotainment, Sound system is just OK. Terrible in cold weather (doesn't heat up, wipers freeze, front defroster takes too long), controls not exactly intuitive (i.e. how do I turn off the sensors for the car wash?).

Love it but fuel economy is not what they say

I have had a 2019 Lexus RX 450h for 2 1/2 years on lease. It's up next March and I'm trying to decide to either buy it or turn it in. Because of Covid, I only have 20K miles on it and will likely be much lower than the 30K limit when I turn it in. I love this car. I baby it! I'm just very frustrated with the lack of fuel economy that I get. It's advertised 28/31 and if I get 27, I'm LUCKY. I'm also concerned with owning it longterm and having to replace the battery eventually. I hear it's expensive. It's very comfortable and luxurious. Some things are a bit tricky, like turning on and off the a/c. It's not just a button. You have to navigate on the screen to find the a/c and then click on it. Kind of a pain. Decisions, decisions...

A pleasure to drive!

I've had my 2020 Lexus RX450h for a year and it is a pleasure to drive. It has all of the accoutrements I waited for since purchasing my 2013 RX350. It has a bird’s eye view of the area surrounding the car, a touch screen monitor and a touch pad, many safety features like blind spot monitoring, lane and parking assist. It has triple head beams with cornering lighting and automatic high beam control. I wish I had added the heads-up display option, but I do enjoy the hands-free-leg-kick to open the tailgate option. The heated/AC seat option is very nice when needed!

Great MPG for vehicle size

The RX 450h F Sport has really comfortable seats good handling and Amazing MPG. I do a city freeway combo daily and don’t drive like a bat out of hell and average 25 mpg. I think is good for such a heavy vehicle on 20’inch stock wheels, I went from a CT200H to this and can’t complain other than the CT had real good MPG.
