This is the nicest SUV I have driven in, the most comfortable, beautiful interior, smoothest ride. It's not too big, easy to park. I am getting good gas mileage.

Wife loves it, I drive AMG

The Lexus is a comfortable and practical ride. My wife loves everything about it especially the interior. I drive AMG Mercedes and it is hard to go from one to the other. The Mercedes is incredible performance, the Lexus is more mainstream, so I am ambivalent towards the Lexus except I admire the comfort.

The car is quiet, fast, and comfortable for an SUV. I have yet to find anything to complain about in the RX 330's bodywork, interior or engine. I do, however, have a complaint about the transmission. At very low speeds (common when commuting in the Washington DC area), the transmission seems to slip into a sort of nuetral. It does this with a pronounced 'clunk', and re-engages with another 'clunk'. Three trips back to the dealer have not produced their acceptance that this is a problem. Hopefully they will acknowledge that this is not characteristic of a luxury SUV, nor is it symblomatic of Lexus' reputation for quality and customer service.

This is our first Lexus. We purchased this brand to avoid trips to the dealer for repairs, etc. Unfortunately, it hasn't turned out that way. We have had either an engine or transmission howl that is getting progressively worse. Perhaps if the rest of the car wasn't so quiet, we wouldn't notice the howl. To the credit of the dealership, they have bent over backwards to attempt to correct the situation but so far, no results. After this experience we would think long and hard before we spent the extra money on a Lexus. I think we will go back to good old Toyotas ... same or better quality at far less cost.
