Used 2020 Kia Soul Consumer Reviews
Zippity in the doo dah
Drove off the lot with a 2020 Kia Soul EX, they should have called her a smart car. Very comfortable ride, a lot of bang for your buck with some zippity in the doo dah. Love my Kia Soul, my last car was a 2013 Kia Soul + that has been passed on to my hubby, she's a good car still going strong. We're a Kia family, it's been a very reliable investment and where I looked first when I was ready to get a new car.

Comfortable for a Large Man---but one thing stinks
I had a Nissan Murano before this Soul. The Murano had seats that made me go ""ahhhh""" every time I sat in them. While the Soul does not make me say "ahhh", neither does it make me say "owww" after along trip. Nothing hurts after a very ling drive. My back,, neck and knees feel fine which is surprising. I love this vehicle except for one maddening feature; the engine shut-off feature. It is truly awful. Every time I stop at a light, the engine turns off (AC too) and then takes a full second to turn on again, long enough for cars behind me to honk. There is a button to disable the feature, but I have to push it every time I enter the car or it shuts off at lights. It is very annoying. If it were not for this stress-producing feature that detracts from the car's enjoyment, it would be almost perfect. I wish the button were to "enable" the feature and not to "disable" the feature.

Great little car
We needed a new car although we did not care for a lot of them or they were too expensive. We took a look at a Kia Soul 2020 and even though this car is a 4cylinder don’t let that fool you. This little car has power and room.
Great crossover
I bought my 2020 Soul S from Kia of Des Moines and I Love it! It gets up to 36 mpg on a road trip. It rides real smooth has plenty of passing power and is very comfortable. I never would have purchased the older style for many reasons but this 2020 is great. Kia of Des Moines give me a great deal and treated me really well.
Best Compact Cargo, Warranty, Safety, Leg Room
Needed a car I could easily park in the City. Due to the 10-year warranty I only considered Kia or Hyundai. Equivalent Hyundai is the Kona with much less cargo and rear leg room than the Kia Soul. In fact, research showed no better car under $25k and under 172 inches long for cargo room (24/62 cf), warranty (5/10 years), safety (get the S or EX trim for the best safety features) and passenger room (especially leg room for rear passengers). Visibility is excellent. My 6-foot son has plenty of leg room in the back seat. The suite of safety features is excellent in the S and higher trims so unless you only drive stick avoid the base-level L model. The EX was hard to find but glad I did. The dual-zone automatic a/c and keyless start alone are well worth the extra $1500. Love the styling on the 3rd-generation 2020 model. Older Souls look cartoonish compared to the sleek lines of 2020 Soul. The only difference between 2020 and 2021 is rear seat occupant alert and start button on the remote. Not worth the extra $1500 so get the 2020 model while you can and save some $$. The Soul is an amazing value for the money. Love how it looks, drives and keeps my family safe.
