Used 2020 Kia Soul Consumer Reviews
Good all around car!
Very good well-handling car, acceleration is very good with a lot of pickup! Very easy to get in and out of, with a lot of interior room for a small car. Negative things no window tint, a lot of road noise, key fob too big/heavy, no door key to be able to unlock the door to get in & the seats are too hard!

Zippy Zoom Zoom
I absolutely love this car! I’m 6’ tall & I drive over 500 miles a week in Alaska where the weather changes from sleet to ice to snow to rain daily! No only is this car comfortable but it handles all the conditions weather has thrown at it! The only time I got stuck in a driveway was when the snow was 18” the night before! It can handle a foot of snow no problem!

FRUSTRATING
I love everything about this car, except the engine. It makes. Loud diesel like noise and of course the service department can't find anything wrong with it. When you're driving through a parking lot and people turn to stare because of the horrible racket, it's a little aggravating. Maybe I can get it fixed at some point. I will most likely trade it in. Edited to add: it burns oil at a faster than normal rate. Kia says it's within their guidelines, so there's nothing they will do.

Paint job and overall performance disappointing
I LOVED my 2014 Kia Soul and would still have it if someone hadn’t crashed it. The Kia Soul 2020 is a significantly lower quality in looks and performance. The paint on my former Kia was perfect after 6 years and being kept mostly outside in Midwestern weather for the first four years, after which it was garaged when at home . The 2020 Kia paint scratched up with many small scratches within a few months (<4> of ownership even though had been kept almost entirely garaged when I was home. When I brought to Kia dealer’s attention (the one who sold it to me), after only owning it for a few months. they implied it was not under warranty and sold me paint pens (plural). Numerous more scratches over the next 18 months. Dealer refuses to cover under warranty. And found out the three year warranty only lasts for 32 months (!!!), not 36. The drive is also jerkier, especially at stops, which can be dangerous when entering busy traffic. This will be my last Kia. It is the perfect size, shape and height for me, but not worth the lack in quality and failure to honor warranty.

No complaints
Traded in a low mileage Range Rover Evoque. Always turned my noise up at Kia, Hyundai. Totally satisfied with the Kia for less than half the price. My son works as a Kia mechanic and convinced me I was wasting money on designer cars. When lease is up on my spouse’s Infiniti QX50 it will be replaced with a Telluride. I am I large man with mobility issues and the Soul is much easier to get in and out
