2020 Koa Soul, X-Line trim. Really sluggish when starting from a complete stop. Feels as if the small engine is trying to tow a boat. That's how sluggish it feels. Headrest are super uncomfortable and pushes your head too far forward. Have only owned for a month and I have constant neckaches that simply have gotten worse. I don't drive around much so daily trips are quite short, basically to and from work which is a 20 minute drive each way. Can't imagine how bad a long trip would be for my neck.

The car is really fun to drive, it's good on gas, it's got a really snazzy look to it.

A lot of features for less than $20,000! Plenty of room for a small vehicle.

2020 GT-It's a car

The car itself drives wonderfully. Very sporty feel and handling. Little 4 cylinder is at best peppy. CVT is better than the ones in Nissan's I have owned, but still anemic. The car burned quite a bit oil up to 3,000 miles and then suddenly stopped. Mpg hovers in the high 20's with mixed driving. Highway mpg best is low 30's. Some are claiming 40s, in my opinion are full of you know what. Interior is very nice. Materials are great for a 20K range car. Front seats are comfortable, but, if you are broad in the shoulders/lats, you might not fit in the tight side bolsters. Fits my wife perfect. Tech is pretty good and works well. The radio sound system is horrid. The worst I have ever had in any car. Sales personnel at Kia dealers are the worst I have ever encountered in my 54 years. I will never walk into another one. It took almost a year for us to get the title for a car we paid cash. Our registration was never processed by the dealer. Almost got arrested for grand theft auto because they never transferred the plate and it was still coming back as our old Minivan. Car is reasonably quiet below 50, but when you hit the highway there is some wind noise in the cabin. All in all, it appears to be a decent value for the money.

Very satisfied

I am not an experienced car owner, being a New Yorker. I just retired and decided to take the plunge. I chose the Soul based on it's size (relatively short for easier street parking), the warranty (great), the interior comfort (spacious and comfy), the cargo space (lots), safety ratings (good), the infotainment system, and performance (good enough for me). I feel at ease in this car. Experienced car-owning friends who have driven it like it a lot, and say it feels solid and responsive (brakes, steering). I bought the EX trim for the added comfort perks, like power seat adjustment and climate control. I'm appreciating the keyless ignition, and the built-in navigation system for when I'm traveling in areas with poor cell service. I haven't had it in cold weather yet but I hear heated seats are wonderful!
