Workhorse little truck with a couple of quirks

2021 sport - don't like sunroofs and don't want leather so this is good for me. This is my second Ridgeline. Prior was a 2019 2wd sport. The change is nice and the electronic shifting is something that you can get used to (hack - you don't have to put the truck in park and then turn off, just turn it off and it automatically goes into park). I got the model with the running board and luggage rack only b/c the deal waived the extra cost. The running boards are great for loading the luggage rack, but who uses a luggage rack when you have a bed and trunk? Otherwise, my Corgi likes it as a booster. It mostly functions to put mud on the back of my pants when I get in our out. 9 speed trans seem kind of "shifty" compared to my 6 speed 2019 but maybe that is me. The front profile and tire change create more road noise. these are minor complaints. The truck is awesome and is a workhorse if you want it to be. The back will hold a cubic yard and half of mulch or a bed full of dirt with no problem. The sport function is great for the "get" and I like the paddle shifters. The radio can be funky (disconnect, lag) with air play and blue tooth but not that bad and my wife's Accura does the same thing. Good truck for the non working truck, truck types.

The Ridgeline is so much more convenient than the rest of the Midsize Truck Market, but it is also nearly as capable. No, the Ridgeline isn't an off-roader but it can hit the trails, tow what you need and fits quite a bit in the bed. I used to own a 2018 and the styling was soft at best, ugly at worst. But, the new styling is fantastic and it looks as good as most trucks. The ride is incredible and I love the powertrain. Some additional things I love compared to my 2018 model are the improved infotainment, enhanced safety features, and again the overall looks. Don't forget, this thing has a huge trunk (you read that correctly) and magic seats in the back. If you are looking at a Mid-Size truck, or even a mid-size SUV, this should be on your short list. With a bed cover, this truly can outclass many SUVs.

I absolutely love this truck. It rides like a luxury car, has power to get up and pass someone without any hesitation. The sensor monitors are great, the sound system is amazing both inside and the factory ones in the cargo bed area. Storage under the bed great, the auto lock system after you walk away from it makes me at ease for the many times i forget to lock it. The good thing about that is that if you leave your keys in the truck it won't lock by itself. I can't say enough good about this truck. Most Definitely a Keeper. I got the Black Edition only in the white, love the red accented little squares in the seat. One Cool Truck.

This is all the truck 95% of people who drive a truck need. It’s comfortable, quick, and is the best riding/handling/cornering truck out there. But if you like a harsh ride, cramped interior, and the ability to POSSIBLY have to traverse off road during a zombie apocalypse then by all means buy a different truck.

So far so good. A lot to learn not like the old days. Need to READ the owners manual and learn all the features with new touch screen. Fit and Finish look great. Ride is very good, smooth and quiet. So, far getting 22 MPG.
