2025 Honda Pilot Consumer Reviews
Pricing
Excellent features, nice ride, MPG not living up.
Overall, I really like my 2025 Pilot. It has a very smooth ride, excellent features (I upgraded from a 2017 Pilot) and my family loves the car. The wireless connection for my Android Auto put this SUV ahead of the Hyundai Palisade. The large moon roof and leather seats on the Touring model were also nice features. My only issue is the gas mileage at this point as the sticker said between 19-25 mpg as an estimate and I'm hovering around 17 and I drive in eco mode. Granted, right now I'm driving more "around town" miles but I'm going to run it by the dealership to see if they have any suggestions. Still a fan of this car after test driving the Hyundai and Toyota Grand Highlander as well.

Shifts hard starting out, rear end gate, works half the time because of a hitch, dash computer is a mess to navigate, garage door opener won't connect. Called the dealer multiple times, on hold still no answers/fixes...3 other people told me not to buy from the local dealer.....NoDak

Just what we expected as per reviews.
Loved the 6 cyl engine & autotransmission, good smooth quite ride, comfort. All the safety features very important. Enough power for my needs. The gear selector buttons takes a while to get used to. Light steering. Waiting for the winter driving. Happy with this car and hope it lasts a long time.

Good to start with
I purchased my 2025 Honda Pilot Elite in October 2024. The dealer ordered it from the factory because the vehicle I wanted was not available in the Midwest. I drive it a lot and already have over 13,000 miles. It's been a solid performer until this week. A few days ago my passenger side front door and rear doors won't unlock with the fob or electronic switches inside. They lock, but won't unlock unless you use the manual switch on each door. The driver's door and rear hatch are not affected. I immediately took it to the dealer and a tech tried for two hours to get it to work, but couldn't. They had never seen this problem with a Pilot. It seems like the locks are getting power and control signals, but they are being prevented from opening by programming or something. Im supposed to take it back next week for this issue, a recall repair, and oil change. As someone said to me, these vehicles are almost too smart for their own good. The sensors also get affected with heavy rain and snow at times, which disables the Adaptive Cruise Control.
