Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration commentsSome wheelspin is good, but too much is too much. Doesn't like pedal overlap. Engine sound is burly but not annoying. Shifts are quick and smooth.
Braking ratingAverage
Braking commentsSoft-ish pedal, ABS pump noise, gravelly tires. Noticeable fade by third stop (pedal got softer but distances didn't get that much worse).
Handling ratingGood
Handling commentsSkid pad: Virtually the same results with or without VDC, but very different feeling. VDC off: benign understeer. VDC on: chopping throttle all the way around. Slalom: With VDC off it'll rotate if driven aggressively, but fast way through was just shy of aggressive. With VDC on it was obviously grabbing brakes hard and for too long. There's probably a quicker pass in this Odyssey, but tires heated quickly.
