I invested in a Civic hybrid over an EX because the IRS tax credit, dealer discount, and annual gas savings make this almost the same price after the first year! The new Civic design is fantastic. Older generation Civics always drove rougher than Accords, but this generation handles very smooth and tight for a small car. I'm getting 44 mpg on the second tank and am learning how to drive the car for maximum mileage. I don't expect to get EPA mileage values of 49/51, but I will try. As for features the car has everything I need: navi with XM radio, steering wheel controls and voice activation, info display on dash for mpg, outside temp, trips, oil life, and total miles. Great overall car!

I traded in my '97 V6 Accord for this car because of the body style and fuel economy. I commute about 50 miles a day in some gridlock and still get about 33 miles a tank which is about a 33% improvement over the Accord. Interior has a sharp design and the exterior paint is nice as are the 16 inch rims. The dual level display is stylish and functional.

Great Small Car

I owned this car for a little over 2 months and put 7800 miles on it. I had no problems whatsoever and I averaged 38.6 mpg while I owned the car. I drive mostly highway (97 miles round trip to and from work), and found this car to be very comforatble. The manual transmission is the smoothest you will find at this price point. It feels like it should be in a car that costs at least $30,000.

Excellent design both in and out. Very fun to drive and love to look at the MPG gauge to see how I'm doing. Have to turn a 180 on driving habits. Just bought the car last week so I can't say much about the mileage. Currently the computer estimated at 35 mpg w/AC blasted all the time in city drive. Can't wait to get up to the EPA estimate.

I was on a waiting list for this little coupe, and it finally arrived 4 months later. I am quite pleased with the handling. No other front wheel drive car, in my opinion, handles this well from the factory. Many aftermarket parts are available (as of this writing, July 07). There are a few problems I have encountered: clunking noise from pass. side strut assembly, drive-by-wire throttle issues, paint quality (POOR), intermittent wiper system sometimes doesn't work properly, interior scratches very easily. All in all, I highly recommend this car. Compared to the 'Cobalier' this is one car you would surely love to drive, and drive all the way to its 8300 rpm redline!
