Used 2004 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
It's ok
I guess for the price (I paid $22K), the LX Accord is a good 'deal'. I traded in my 01 VW Passat for the Accord and have regretted it EVERY DAY since! The car seems poorly made, the entire inside of the car rattles; we have yet to figure out what is causing the rattling after checking the glove compartment, visors and the storage area under the radio. Oh, by the way, the radio reception is TERRIBLE, the worst. I always listen to CDs as I can never get a clear radio station. The stock speakers are terrible. Also, the road noise inside the car is AWFUL. I do like the interior though, and I feel safe in this car, and most importantly, I feel like my 3 yr old son is safe.
MONEY WELL SPENT!!
Suffering from owning a horrific 2010 Chevrolet impala and a nightmarish 2006 Suzuki Verona I needed a reliable beater for my daily preferably a Honda or even toyota. Owned a 10' civic years ago and loved Hondas reliability but soon realized the accord is better than the civic in every way possible.. I found this 04' gem for sale from a private owner with 189k for $2,350. Had minimal cosmetic wear n tear & came w/ leather heated seats, sunroof and 16" aluminum rims. Family owned, Maintenance was kept up it and went through inspection only needing a headlight bulb... After 2yrs of owning this dinosaur I've had to replace the oil pressure sensor ($30), Power steering pump ($75), Starter ($170), Upper radiator hose ($20) and a few aged dry rotted plastic parts like intake gasket ($10) & a air cleaner intake sleeve ($40) so far. NO COMPLAINTS HERE Maintenance is easy and affordable, Parts are dirt cheap and easy to find. Installed powerstop performance drilled and slotted rotors with the powerstop pads and you couldn't rear end someone if you wanted to... I'D BUY ANOTHER 04' JUST TO HAVE FOR BACKUP!

Absolutely impressed with this car
Okay guys so i bought this car 2 years ago exactly on sept 7 2017 I bought it off a craigslist ad, and i thought i got a good deal, the car is a. a honda and b. the odometer said it only had 88,000 miles on it, and the people selling it only wanted 3,000$. So being a college student i bought the car, turns out i bought it without the title (my mistake) and the miles were actually rolled back and at the time i did not know how to check that, the car actually last reported in 2016 that it had over 150,000 miles. so theoretically i would of never bought the car if i would of known that it had that many miles. So after being duped by the dealership and going through 2 years of headaches tracking down people to get the car in my name just 3 days ago i finally got the car in my name, the car now has 130,000 miles so technically it is now over 200,000 miles, and all i can say is WOW just WOW, I have had no major issues what so ever besides an alternator going out, and a power steering pump ( which is located on top of the engine), so it was both an easy fix. the motor the the driver window has been out, which is not a problem for me at the moment. but this car has gone through hell and back with me driving from fort worth to midland countless times, never leaving me stranded, the car still shifts so smooth and it has so much power i put the car in first gear and floored it and scared 2 of my friends by how much power it had. the engine feels like it has another 100-200k miles to put on it, unfortunately i will not be putting on those miles i am going to get myself a brand new car and give my friend this car, because i was fortunate to find a really good job in these times. always always always check your carfax! and never buy a car without them showing you a title first! NO EXCUSES! i will always buy brand new now, but if your ever in need of a nice cash car and can pick up one of these, do it!

2004 Honda Accord 4 Cylinders Rock!
Unlike the 6 cylinders which have a timing belt the 4 cylinder have timing chains which do not require that expensive service item. The A/C can be so cold that it is almost painful. Thankfully that is adjustable. It towed my little utility trailer with relative ease although Honda should has had a 4th gear option instead of 1, 2, and 3. That was truly an oversight on their part but then again who really tows with an Accord? I DO!

It's good
I bought this car 2 about 2 month ago and it's in a good shape. I love the interior, especially audio system. It looks luxurious and it's easy to control too. I was a little bit disappointed about the 0-100 or acceleration. You have to be at above 4000 rpm in order to accelerate fast. 240hp@6250 212 torque@5500 tells that u really need to reach high rpm in order to feel the good performance.
