Used 2024 GMC Yukon Consumer Reviews
Faulty New Build
Paid 91k for a new 2023 Yukon XL and the motor went out after a week with all of my 5 kids in the car, stopped in the middle of the road! Very disappointed, I’ve never spent so much on a vehicle but my family grew and now I don’t trust going o a road trip with my family to Disney in this car…!

Disappointing, DO Not Lease or Buy
I leased a 2023 Yukon AT4. With only 3900 miles, the car started rattling. ABS, Traction control, and front impact warning sensor malfunctioned at the same time. I Brought it to the dealership and was told it was a mechanical issue, specifically the engine lifters, which were not available and had to be ordered (which would take over a week). I was told that the car is "perfectly safe" to drive and I could drive it back. Dealership did not have any loaner vehicles. I called GMC to question the validity of safety of the vehicle and why the dealership had no vehicles. I was told that they stood by the dealerships recommendations regarding the status of the vehicle and they had nothing to do with the loaner vehicles. I find that disturbing whereas other vehicle companies have loaner vehicles readily available. I asked if they would reimburse me for a car rental, again I was denied. I questioned the representative if an accident occurred with the vehicle being compromised would they take responsibility? There was no response. We ended the call with the typical pleasantries. My take is for a vehicle that is well over $80,000.00 engine problems should not occur with such low mileage, along with concurrent electrical issues. The company should take responsibility and remedy the inconvenience a leaser undergoes and mediate there interaction with the dealership. When that time of the month comes to take the lease payment from ones account, they are quick to secure there payment. Be aware to anyone looking to lease or purchase an SUV with GMC. You will get the typical " sorry cant do anything, and is there anything else I can help you with today" response. Nevertheless this is the last time I lease a vehicle with GMC.

So Far So Good
For some reason they don't list the Diesel as an option for the review. I opted for the Diesel engine in place of the 6.2. Fuel economy has been great, average 23 city/highway, and if on a longer trip we are seeing around 29-30 mpg at 75 mph. So far no mechanical or electrical defects as other have seen in earlier years. Mine has the Super Cruise, RSE, and just about every option on a Yukon Denali you can get, short if the Ultimate. We opted not go with the Ultimate as we didn't like the interior color, nor did we want speakers in the headrest.

Piece o crap
Running boards are a death trap..slippery with snow on boots you will crack your head wide open as you skim off the runners..most electrical stuff doesnt work..terrible soft bumpy rolling suspension...cant see a damn thing with poor poor poor headlights..interior material just mars and scuffs like mad and you cant clean it..stupid warning comes up on display telling you not to watch the display for long..BUT.. you have to physically take your eyes off the road to locate the dismiss button on the screen otherwise this message never ever dissappears....what kind of stupid gmc engineering is that?. Really are you guys that daft? Interior lighting is incredibly poor( led lighting can be very bright from really small fixtures- yet gmc chose to provide crappy lighting inside) the warning to check for an occupant in back seat is consistent not dependent on whether or not somebody is actually there so of course you will learn to completely ignore it after driving for a week....OR... it has a disable feature so for sure you will never check the back seat for your baby..isnt that genius...i have furiously danced like lord flatly doing the riverdance in many parking lots trying to get the back hatch to open with the kick feature..hah not much success but a casting director did ask me to tryout in his production...i am so sorry i bought this truck..oh by the way its a 4wd with no four- low..i mean wtf man...i just thought its a 4wd of course it has 4 lo..stoopit bozos. Dont buy it its been in the shop twice now..it has 6000 km on it..there is a reason why toyota has kicked gmc's butt and taken a huge share of the market...its a new vehicle i didnt want or expect to be having problems..how can you expect your family or loved ones to be safe and secure in a vehicle like this..they (gmc) dont care about you so run away from any gmc vehicle. SERIOUSLY!!!
