Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration commentsNon-defeat traction control, automatic transmission and a small-scale engine in a big box means the Transit requires ZERO technique. Stand on the throttle.
Braking ratingAverage
Braking commentsVery consistent, straight and controlled. Pedal effort is moderate and doesn't change. Good fade resistance.
Handling ratingAverage
Handling commentsSkid pad: Non-defeat ESC means you can drive around the pad with the gas pedal on the floor. No technique, yet the Transit remains relatively upright and steering offers good feedback. Slalom: Excellent turn-in, good yaw response, flat attitude all kept in check with non-defeat ESC. Still, it feels very confident and well-sorted when it probably didn't need to be.
