Used 2003 Ford Mustang GT Premium 2dr Coupe (4.6L 8cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
Sonic Blue GT
Bought this car in June 05 with 12k miles. Now has 115K miles. Mildly modded with CAI, exhaust, short shifter, MACH1 shocks, Ford C-Springs, white face gauges. Only repairs are front brake calipers (self-inflicted SCCA racing casualty) and alternator and battery...and four sets of tires. Consistently gets 25-26 mpg on highway. I want to get a new car but can't find anything that I like better than this one.
Still the best bang for the buck!!!
I can honestly say that I will never purchase a GM product again. The performance, options and quality that Ford has built into these vehicles is unbelievable. I've already added a pro 5.0 shifter, bullit s.s. pedals, roush cold air and flow mufflers. The true duals really like to irritate the neighbors too. Love pulling up to the ricers sounding like weed eaters and opening up a can of v8. My insurance is less than a 4cyl celica, gas mileage averages around 19/20 combo. Love this car and plan on keeping this one for a very long time. Previous car 96 TA

The bad. Ergonomics. Headrest isn't there. Shifter too far. Car is way too high in terms of springs. Interior design dates back to 94. Maybe this happens to just my car but you can hear an air leak on the drivers side in freeway speeds. Squeeky rear suspension. Dealer can't figure out what is causing it. The good. The power and handling is pretty good. Lots of fair price aftermarket modifications for it. The exterior design looks very muscular. Too bad for the 2005. Looks like the t- bird route.
You dont Know what your missing
This is by far the best car ever built with 260hp, this car was made to fly.
Fun to drive
Fun car, sporty with tight suspension. Not very roomy. I owned mine for 18 years. Less than 12000 miles on it.
