Freestar SE... give me back my windstar!
The seating arangements in this van are terrible. Don't buy it if you have more than two kids. The middle seats don't move fore/aft. The rear seat is only fit for small kids. Also you will never get 6 adults in this van. The rear seat folds up with great ease, but it would have been cheaper to just leave it out altogether. It is useless for anyone over 4 feet tall. This is basically a 4 passenger vehicle. Test drive this one for at least a couple of hours to make sure it works for you... beware!!!

Thanks Ford!
Owned a Windstar previously, NO comparison! Not only enjoyable to drive, but the bigger engine gives the Freestar new energy.
Not as good as a Chrysler
We have had this vehicle for a little over six months and it has spent six days in the shop. The uphill pull is gutlessn and there is not a lot of torque going up steep grades. The fuel economy hasn't been even close to to the posted estimates at the dealer and the overall ride isn't as smooth as a Chrysler.
My New Freestar
This vehicle is wonderful! I have owned Caravan, Windstar and 2 Explorers before this. I do not even have young children to cart around any more but missed all the comfort and roominess of a minivan. As a mother of grown & nearly grown children & new grandma I am probably not a typical minivan owner. The ride is the smoothest yet and everything is at my fingertips. It is fun to drive and I am proud to own it.
