2024 Ford Escape Deals, Incentives & Rebates

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection through the Connecticut Hydrogen and Electric Automobile Purchase Rebate (CHEAPR) program offers a Standard Rebate amount of $500, or a total of $2,000 (which includes the Rebate+ New offer for pre-qualified low-income applicants). Offer available to residents who purchase or lease a new eligible plug-in hybrid electric vehicle from a participating Connecticut franchised new automobile dealer or an original equipment manufacturer. Applicants may receive this incentive at point-of-sale through participating dealers, or apply for a consumer-direct rebate after purchase or lease of eligible vehicles. To qualify:

• Base MSRP of vehicle not to exceed $50,000.
• Must be a Connecticut resident. Active-duty military members stationed in Connecticut will be eligible to apply.
• Vehicle must be registered with the Connecticut DMV for a minimum of 24 consecutive months.
• Must retain ownership for a minimum of 24 consecutive months immediately after the vehicle purchase or lease date.
• Leased vehicles must have a lease term of at least 24 months.
• Applicants are limited to one CHEAPR rebate every 24 months and two per lifetime.

Additional information:

• For the $2,000 (Standard Rebate combined with Rebate+ New), applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
• Reside in an Environmental Justice (EJ) Community or Distressed Municipality.
• Participate in a qualifying state or federal income qualifying program.
• Have an income level less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Level.
