Fun to drive and comfortable
I agree with all the other reviews about how well built and technologically advanced this car is. The volt has been a pleasure to drive and I still can't believe how comfortable it is. I was commuting in a 2006 Lexus GS 430 which gives you a sense of how well the volt drives. This is my first American built car and I have to say Chevy did a great job!
Excellent in rear view
Great car. I would have been happy with 1/2 of the great success of this vehicle. It has proven to be a great car in dependability, reliability, efficiency and service. Great value overall even when the upfront cost seemed steep.

Great commuter, fun
Great commuter, constant 50 mile summer range, 35 miles in winter, best 59.3 miles. Bought with 48k miles, now 64k, still less than 80 gallons of gas used, 200 mpg o/a. Overnight charging runs $0.75 per completely discharged battery (35-50 miles), gas ICE backup, 35 to 40 mpg. Nice looking, quick acceleration, low maintenance. No repair issues. Quiet. Now May 2018, 69K, still NO repair issues, roughly 80% on battery. Most driving in a rural setting. Over 21K miles and have used less than 120 g of gas. Oil change once a year. Used more gas this last winter, due to running ICE for heat. Sold on EV's and PHEV's! Traded in in Aug. of '18, and it was a tough call, as I didn't have to change cars, just got a good deal on a lease. Ended up with 23.5 K miles, (130 g of gas) 180+ mpg, still a great car. No repair issues. Upgraded to a 2018 Chevy Bolt.
