2026 Chevrolet Trax Consumer Reviews

Perfect
I purchased this car in January of this year based on my experience with my wife’s car, which is a 2024 tracks one RS. I research every car out there and ended up buying a 2025 Chevrolet Trax active my decision for doing so Was based on one familiar familiarity. I said that because I loved driving my wife’s car and I drove a lot of cars in the end. I chose the tracks and I did decide I wanted all the options so I got the activ. To be perfectly honest with you and I know a lot of these people exaggerate one way or the other, but I’m telling you the truth. It’s probably the best car I’ve ever had and I’ve had many. I love the size of it. It’s perfect for me as 90% of my driving is alone and 90% of my driving is highway. My average highway experience is about 36 miles a gallon. At about 70 miles an hour. What are the best things that I like about this car is the seat. It is very very comfortable and I like the fact, of course that it’s an electric seat and adjustable to many positions. I also really feel the adaptive cruise control is worth every penny and should be required on our cars. As far as I’m concerned the handling is absolutely great. I don’t know what more you could ask. The thing that concern me was the three cylinder but having driven my wife’s car for a year, I had no problem with it and I recently made a trip a 200 mile trip but through the mountains and I averaged 36 miles a gallon, which very much impressed me. I will say I think the radio could be a little better but I’m not really a kind of sore and sound so it’s perfectly fine for me. The only option I did not get with the sunroof that was just because I don’t like them other than that it has everything you could possibly ask for with the exception of automatic trunk release, which is convenient but not a dealbreaker so All and All am I honest opinion if you drive the car, I’m sure you’ll have a different opinion of it and as far as the three cylinder goes, that wouldn’t bother me a bit and again, I have two of them without problems. By the way so, do yourself a favor and drive one before you make a decision I think it’d be very, very surprised. Good luck.

First new car in ages!
I just moved back to the USA from a Caribbean island. After a lot of online searching and viewing/reading many reviews the Chevy Trax met all my needs. So pleased by this vehicle and the price is outstanding. I expected to buy a low mileage SUV but could not beat the value of a brand new Chevy Trax 2RS!

Trax
The car handles great. Fuel economy outstanding. Front wheel dive is good for this, Pa., part of the country. Nothing bad to say about it other than having to override the auto stop function every time you start the car. But that’s across the board with most newer model cars these days.
