I've had 85,87,95,97, & 99 Corvette's, they all been great, but this takes it to a completely new level. This is the greatest car I have ever owned. For the price, there is now better car made. I would give it the highest marks on everything.

My 5th Vette. Beyond Comparison

Bought in Texas. Awesome Drive home! This is the first Corvette I have ever been in that rides as good as it looks and goes. Excellent fit and finish, comfortable seats and of course 400 willing horsepower to punch a hole in the road. Creature comforts like heads up display, power heated seats, dual climate controls, 6 CD Bose sound system all coddle the occupants. Great steering, seat comfort and pedal placement make this car sooooo much fun. The nicest thing about this car is it's a Chevy and can be serviced without waiting months for parts or an appointment. Besides all that what could be more American than driving a red Corvette with the top off and my wife sitting at my side?

Also own 2000 C5 and 2003 C5 as well as the C6. The C6 is by far superior to the C5 in performance as well as design. It is a total delight to drive and deserves the many stares it garners. Once one gets used to the keyless concept the car is even more of a delight. Navigation system easily understood after the first few "tries".

I have driven many exotics in my day..Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, etc. Ordered the car in March based solely on the early pictures and reviews. Was I ever surprised! Unbelievable power, head turning looks, nice ride from the new Goodyear EMT's. My car is an early one (#1995) and the build quality is every bit as good as others costing many thousand more. Z51 and six speed manual is the way to go. If this isn't the automotive buy of a lifetime, I don't know what is. Thank you Chevrolet, it really is an American Revolution.

This car is truly awesome!! I had a new MB SLK350 on order, but cancelled immediately after seeing this car, and test driving it! The exterior/interior design is first-class and well refined. I got the Z51 suspension with auto trans. Don’t let those 4-speeds fool you! The shifting is smooth and precise. Performance you ask? Unless you’ve flown a fighter jet, or driven a car like this, you don’t know what g- force is all about! It even has a digital g-force meter that you see by look at the head-up display that’s projected through the windshield! The taillights look like twin after- burners on an F/A 22 jet. If you buy a C6, be prepared for the instant attention this car draws.

I first drove a Corvette in '78. I thought it was pretty awesome. Well, my new C6 has exceeded all my expectations. It has blazing speed and dazzling handling. Going through the gears has to be similar to flying an F18. It's a head turning beauty and so much fun to drive. I have to believe it's the best bang for the buck true sports car available today. When you sit in the cockpit, grab the wheel, push the ignition, put it in gear and get it rolling you know you have a superb vehicle under your control.

Great combination of performance & comfortable city driving. Love the powerful off-line acceleration coupled with great city & highway gas mileage. In my opinion, there is no better sports coupe under $100,000 that combines the features of great styling, raw performance and pure overall driveability. My wife absolutely loves it. She drives it while I'm out of town on business. Besides the acceleration, she loves the time saving keyless FOB that prevents her from fumbling in her purse for keys when she has groceries or school supplies in her arms. Spacious cargo area. The addition of XM Radio, OnStar, heated seats and HomeLink Transmitter makes life safer & much more driver friendly.

A total blast to drive, excellent build quality (no defects, no rattles, nada), and absolutely stunning engineering. This car is the best answer to a hard day I've ever seen. It is my daily driver. I have absolutely no regrets for having sold my BMW 3-Series to buy this wonderful vehicle.Find a dealer with a high allocation, or you will wait months for your car. And go to Bowling Green, KY to see it built, as I did -- you will never forget that day.

The C-5 ZO6 is the best of the best for all around performance and certainly for the price. I have owned 26 Vettes since 1965, 4 presently and the "04 Z is tops. I have driven and critiqued the C-6 and have significant dislikes of it because it is now being produced with a NEW Corvette audience in mind, but has failed to keep the true Corvette enthusiast of the past 50 years as the focal point for what a Corvette means to them. Adding gingerbread does not make for a better vehicle and I predict that sales of the C-6 versus that of the C-5 will tell the accurate story. The Corvette is a "sports car" folks, not a luxury ride.

I traded in my 1998 Corvette for this new and much improved 2005 Vette. It drives like a dream. We took it on a 200 mile trip thru the curvy mountain roads of East Tennesse and Western North Carolina the day after we bought it. The handling was great. The new style was a real attention getter. The motorcycles would actually pull over to let us pass because they couldn't keep up. We Love our new Corvette.

I had lusted for this car ever since I was a kid and now it's mine. Somebody pinch me! My honey got me this for X- mas last year and it still makes me smile on a daily (at minimum!) basis. And he likes it even more than he ever thought he would. The boys (big and small) love it, but so do the girls! Many thumbs up and "nice car!" comments and at the same time envious stares from the other "moms" that are driving mini-vans and SUVs. If I'm gonna burn the gas, I'll be in a 'Vette! Timing was everything; I'm so glad I waited for the C-6. When asked about my car - and I'm asked ALL the time- I say with a smile "still liking it!" Love, love, love!!!!

I am now on my 16th Corvette. The 2005 is a huge difference from my 2002. The thing I like the most is the much more refined interior. The car is much quieter than the last Corvette model. The touch screen navagation is awsome. It also displays the navagation in the heads up display if so desired. The XM radio is great to have also. I have been getting many compliments on the new body style also. I love the new headlights also. Last year when Corvette loyalist found out that Chevrolet was doing away with the pop up headlights in favor of more aerodynamic HID lighting everyone was not happy with that. Corvettes have had pop up headlights since 1963. The proformance is awsome also! 400 HP!

I drove a 2005 Corvette with no intention of buying one. The speed & headlights sold me. It is a very comfortable road car. I took a 2000k mi. trip up hwy 1 to Oregon. I averaged 25.6mpg on Hwy and 20.5 in town on unleaded reg.fuel. I put a Borla touring exhaust on the car as the factory exhaust is too quiet. I am happy with the Borla touring exhaust and X pipe. $1625. The doors are very big and you need plenty of room to get out w/o hitting the car parked next to you. The SB2 package is real nice with the two 6 way adjust. seats, HID, Boze stero & telescoping sterring wheel. It is superior in performance, styling & comfort to the Nissan 350z,Porsche Boxster & the 911 The 911 Turbo is a contender.

You could say I am an more familiar with vettes than any dealer and now everything from A to Z. My new C6 is a power monster & after break-in just literally ate up my friends 04 Z06 in a 0-100 & 0-60 time trial. I cant wait to see what the C6 - Z06 version will do. If you owm a C5 pawn it or trade it in before it goes down in value, this is the one you want.

WOW! Do not test drive this beauty unless you're ready to buy it! One spin down the road & you're hooked BIG TIME! Most fun I've had since flying Cobras in the Army & that's saying something...it's a little hard to get used to the stares & double-takes from other drivers on the road...a stop for gas can last 20 minutes because people want to look & talk about the 05 Vette. It's a gas to drive & has more than sufficient zip to get your heart pumping at upper triple digits. Pure enjoyment to drive - driver's seat is not comfortable, but who cares...its a kick in the pants to drive. Gas mileage is better than I ever dreamed. Get one & you will not be disappointed...best deal for the money too.

This is the most awesome car I have ever owned. It gives a whole new meaning to the word driving. Everyday is a new driving expierence. The coating on the outside makes it easy to give it a just waxed look. I'm glad I didn't wait on the 2006 model. I have looked at them side by side and I like mine better. The new ones look too much like a Viper. Part of what makes a Vette unique is the hidden headlights. I have a hearing disability but I love the sound of the pipes going through the gears. I have a seven year old daughter who loves to get into "Our racecar". People at stop lights roll down their windows to give me thumbs up. Women notice me more for sure. I just love my Vette!

Hard to drive without a smile on your face. A completely different animal from the C5. Smooth and quiet with almost too much get up and go on the highway. Only negative on the car is the front license plate mount. Chevy redesigned the car so good, they forgot some states needed a front plate.

i sprung for the Z-51 package that includes larger tires and a more suspension goodies. Although the suspension is most impressive, the active handling system is very protective. If you are a novice, it will protect you from driving beyond your limits. That said, I have not had it on the track to see what happens when I turn off the AHS. Spinning the tires with the AHS and traction control on is very difficult. If you turn off the traction control and AHS, you can light em up all day long.

The Corvette design team has outdone themselves again! This machine is a technological marvel and work of art. Sitting inside my C6 Z51 6-Spd beast makes me feel like a king. This is my second 'vette, the first was a 2000 C5 Z51 6-Spd. The power is considerably stronger, partly due to the lower bottom gears for off-the-line torque. I find I need to re-learn accelerator control to keep the wheels from breaking free in both 1st and 2nd. The engine remains quiet until pouring on the power and then exhibits a more refined growl than the C5. The car is much quieter, they solved the window wind noise problem at highway speeds. Ran out of words so suffice it to say: Corvette Rules!

Hard to get. But once you get the car it's great! Fit and finish are excellent. It has good gas economy. I get 20 to 24 in the burbs. My car has every available option, although I can do without XM radio. I just wish the wind wasn't so loud when driving. The paint job is excellent, better than the past Vettes. Shifting could be more presice on the 6 speed. The headlights are fantastic! This car is too quiet. It needs a deeper, throaty sound.

If you're going to get a C6, make sure to invest in the Z51 package. It makes all the difference in the world. I owned a 1997 C5, and the difference between the two is like night and day. I'm not thrilled with the navigation system only because I would have rather had the in-dash 6-CD changer as opposed to the single CD player.

Ihave owned Vettes in the past. This is the most fun any man can have with his pants on. It's faster all through the RPM range than I expected. It's remarkabely quiet and has a much smoother ride. The six speed short shifter is great. The top rattles a alittle when it is detached and in the rear holder. But it's not a problem at all. The car is very forgiving to drive and the Head's Up display is fantastic. The Nav system and the XM radio operate easily from a simple to understand touch screen.

This is a very decent driving sports car. It is my third Corvette with my last being a 2001 Coupe. This is a much quieter ride. The six speed seems a little stiff at times and not much improvement over the 2001. The power is excellent and the seats are more comfortable. The brakes and suspension with the sport package is outstanding. Fuel mileage is slightly less than my old car but I only have 650 miles on it so far.

My first Corvette was a 1960 fuel injected red on red with stainless side body insert. Boy I wish I had it now. I then had a 1969. It was just so so. I have had Porsche 911s for the past ten years and have just taken delivery of my new 2005 Corvette hardtop. I cannot believe how this car has been improved. I believe they fixed everything that caused me to not purchase one since 1969. It is as hot as a firecracker and loads of fun to drive. The craftsmanship quality of the car is up 100%.

I've owned the C6 for 3 months now and I love the car! I did consider other cars like the BMW & Mercedes, but the Vette is just way much better looking. The C6 is the fastest car I've driven and its fairly comfortable even with the Z51. I expected my ride to be stiffer with the Z51, but it's actually great. I did wish that the top wouldn't rattle when I exit a high driveway or a bump. To be fair, the interior materials are nice, but I think they could still improve it more. Make those plastics and the leather feel more like a 55K car. I don't see anything wrong with it's height, considering that it is a sports car after all. The brakes, power, handling & speed are just stunning!

Having driven a C5 Corvette for over seven years, I was anxious to see if my new C6 could expand the tremendous qualities of the C5. It does in every aspect. The acceleration and handling are a huge step up (especially with the Z51 package), it is explosive. The exterior design is a nice improvement, especially the front end, and the interior is very well done. My car is a Daytona Sunset Orange color, and draws thumbs-up from all ages everywhere I go. Truly a world class peformer with comfort and everyday driving capacities. When comparing the car to the Porsche, Viper, and even Ferrari, it is truly a steal at $54,000.

Most driver freindly sports car. Past 9 years I have owned a Porsche 968, 993,996 and a 2000 Viper but this vette is fun to drive.

The new 2005 Corvette is an unbelievable sports car in terms of performance and beauty. After checking out its 2005 German nemesis, I found the Corvette to be more powerful, more advanced in both interior and exterior design, and more fun to drive. Maintenance is minimal. Make no mistake, the 2005 Corvette is a premium sports car. In addition, the Corvette is designed to provide ample seating room for both driver and passenger. Luggage room is great for cross-country trips. If you decide to buy one, be prepared to watch other people bend their necks and put up their thumbs as you pass-by. You will look for excuses to drive your new Corvette.
