I have had (and currently have) Porsche, Benz, 80's Corvettes, many moons ago, Austin Healey, Marcos (do you know what that is?)and others. This automobile is staggering. Civilized and "beastly" at the same time! It is amazing how much attention I get (maybe it's the Millenium Yellow...). All of a sudden everybody on the road is polite! They want to let me go by so they can see the car! My C6 has everything except Z-51 (does have mag. select). A very, very tight automobile. If you haven't been in one, try it... You hear a "great car for the money". No, A GREAT CAR PERIOD!

My first Vette. Glad to have waited for the C-6. More fun to drive than to look at! This car is rock solid. If you have need for speed you will appreciate the performance of this vehicle.

I can't imagine another car that provides so much fun and excitement for the price. We've driven our C6 on two long trips and arrived feeling much better than we would have in our Chrysler 300 (and it's a pretty comfy car). I love the performance and drivability and my wife loves the style and comfort. It's quite an improvement from our C3 which has been "demoted" to show and parade duty only.

Snap, crackle, pop. That's how you feel when driving this new vette with awesome power and performance. Better still, it's an everyday driver that gets between 17 and 18 MPG. People talk to you every where you go and say how they all wanted a Vette at some time in their life. This is a car that you don't need to drive fast to command respect, just the fact that you're driving it will do that. This car has it all, luxury and performance. Just keep in mind, the lower the price of gas, the faster it goes.

Very fast, not disappointed, glad I got the Z51 package. Would not get navagation again; no preset radio stations when navigation is on. No express up on windows, that's a no no. Other than that, it's the best sports car for the money.

I love the Corvette convertible. Its design is so simple and effective, and the fact its a convertible makes it even more visually appealing. Having put a new sound system in, it completes the car, making it an ultimate luxury to drive in. A truly wonderful car.

It's noisy. It's bumpy. It's a helluva ride! And, yes, it is true: the Corvette mystique is alive and kickin' in the 2005 model! My maiden voyage from Los Angeles to Las Vegas was memorable(..no tickets even!)

Lady driven and love it. This is a vehicle that I have always wanted, finally purchased new in 2006. Looked so good did not want to drive it and had it in my garage for 6 months before I took it out. Love the car, it is awesome to drive, definitely turns heads. This is what I call my Sunday Drive Cruising Car. I had this car now since 2006 new, and don't get it out much to drive, and took it out for 2nd time this summer and my convertible gave me problems, back cover did not close properly is off centre and now need to take in to get serviced. So bit disappointed on this issue. No other complaints.

Other than not having a recall for "Service Column Lock" that was a problem with my C5 also, this car is very fun to drive. The throaty V8 engine has a hefty amount of power when you need it. With plenty of options to choose from, you can customize to your liking. I will never be without a Corvette...

This is a great car. I've driven a lot of Porsches (still own a Boxster), M- B's and BMW's and this car compares very favorably. Power is outstanding; particularly for the $. The car is just beautiful...chevy finally got it right!

WOW! Do not test drive this beauty unless you're ready to buy it! One spin down the road & you're hooked BIG TIME! Most fun I've had since flying Cobras in the Army & that's saying something...it's a little hard to get used to the stares & double-takes from other drivers on the road...a stop for gas can last 20 minutes because people want to look & talk about the 05 Vette. It's a gas to drive & has more than sufficient zip to get your heart pumping at upper triple digits. Pure enjoyment to drive - driver's seat is not comfortable, but who cares...its a kick in the pants to drive. Gas mileage is better than I ever dreamed. Get one & you will not be disappointed...best deal for the money too.

i sprung for the Z-51 package that includes larger tires and a more suspension goodies. Although the suspension is most impressive, the active handling system is very protective. If you are a novice, it will protect you from driving beyond your limits. That said, I have not had it on the track to see what happens when I turn off the AHS. Spinning the tires with the AHS and traction control on is very difficult. If you turn off the traction control and AHS, you can light em up all day long.

Traded in my 2000 Vette. The '05 Vette is a quantum leap from the C5 - performance, interior/exterior fit & finish. Navigation system and overall use of technology is impressive.

Hard to get. But once you get the car it's great! Fit and finish are excellent. It has good gas economy. I get 20 to 24 in the burbs. My car has every available option, although I can do without XM radio. I just wish the wind wasn't so loud when driving. The paint job is excellent, better than the past Vettes. Shifting could be more presice on the 6 speed. The headlights are fantastic! This car is too quiet. It needs a deeper, throaty sound.

Chevy corrected all the things I didnt like about my C5, no rattles, more power by far, Far nicer interior materials...much more solid feel & better handling, I paid LESS than what I paid for my 04 Z06 and am in absolute heaven...This baby rocks my world, fast, smooth, sexy & great tunes !!! Thank You Chevy, you got this one right !!!!!

This is my second Vette. My first was a 2001 C5 convertible. Over all this is a spectacular car. I cannot believe the response and the handling. The lines on the car are outrageous. Imagine a Ferrari and a Lamborgini mated to make a new car that resembles a Vette. The creature comforts are many including a built in cell phone for the OnStar option.

Ihave owned Vettes in the past. This is the most fun any man can have with his pants on. It's faster all through the RPM range than I expected. It's remarkabely quiet and has a much smoother ride. The six speed short shifter is great. The top rattles a alittle when it is detached and in the rear holder. But it's not a problem at all. The car is very forgiving to drive and the Head's Up display is fantastic. The Nav system and the XM radio operate easily from a simple to understand touch screen.

I have had his car only a month. They just rolled off truck and I had already bought it. I have owned 13 Corvettes and this is by far the Best. I also have a cadillac Escalade which is nice but my Vette is the ultimate driving machine; Thanks.....Garry L. Davis

From the first moment I saw this car at the dealer, I knew I had to have it. Paying an extraordinary $59,000 dollars, I still think it is worth it. In fact, with the nice performance and reliability you get in this Corvette, I would have paid 108,000 dollars. It's just a car you don't get anywhere else. I think this car was not only a great car performance wise, but also quality and exterior design. I gave it a 10 because of spotless paint, superb frame, and nice little lights. I think that it was a change for many people to see the old lights go, but they new ones are awesome too. I would strongly reccomend this car if you are a street racer (just kidding!). I found this car very nice..

What has kept this car going for so long is truly plain and simple, a great car for a great price. There is no competition. It is the best fifty thousnad dollars anybody can spend on a car. Drop a four thousand dollar supercharger in it like me and a couple of minor upgrades to the intake and exaust, and you'll have yourself on heck of a street machine that an $83,000 Viper can't even touch. Plus your still under sixty thousand.

I never had a Vette before but I did own a Camero.I am not overly impressed with the styling inside or out, in fact I like my Cameros styling better but the car handles great and it is very fast! It will take some time to be able to parallel park since it it hard to judge the front or rear of the car. I worry about buying having bought a new redesigned car. I hope this one does not have problems. My Camero was a new model too and spent allot of time at the garage.

Absolute thrill to drive. The quality is outstanding. Chevrolet has finally developed a Corvette that looks as good on the inside as it does on the outside. It is easier to get in/out and more comfortable as a daily driver than previous models. Highly recommend it. The power is inspiring!

I drove the car from California to Florida with absolutely no problems. I got 25 miles per gallon (per the trip computer). I have to say it is the most comfortable car I have ever driven (I have a bad back). I want the Z06 now!

The Vette does more than what I expected. The speed, handling and looks are out of this world. I was very happy with the acceleration and steering response. I have all my friends trying to buy one now.

I have owned 7 Porsches, 5 Mercedes, 4 Lexus', and Infiniti FX45 and 2 Corvettes. The first being a C5 and now a new C6. By far, this car exceeds every vehicle that I have had the fortune to own and drive. It just does everything right and after 3,000 miles makes me feel like the first day I drove it off the lot. Chevrolet has made and amazing car at an even better price.

I drove the new c6 around the gateway international speedway. it is the defination of a super car. look out car collectors this will be on your hit list. hits the curves like they were a straight stretch. very impressive shifting. feels like you are in a jet

I have had mine for 1 1/2 months now. Nothing can describe it. It's awesome, no wonder this car has been a legend for 52 years. It's half the price of any car that can compete with it. I think Chevy priced it way too low for what you get for what you pay.

This car is great - although the attention is a bit overwhelming. Too many times have people been gathered around it as I walk out of the mall. It is a joy to drive and a pleasure to show off. Be careful when driving across dips in the road - low clearance tends to scrape here and there - also when pulling into a parking space with a cement divider in front.

I believe the rating I gave this Vette in the top of the survey pretty much told you how I feel about this car. Simply put it is one of the best Vettes yet, but I will have to admit there is a place in my heart for the 1957 Corvette convertible. Don't get me wrong I realize the 57 didn't handle or perform like the 05 but it was a little jewel.

I traded a 99 vVtte with 95 K miles. I never had a problem with my old Vtte and thought it was the best car I ever had, until I took home the '05. What a wonderful car. I feel it is actually me of a leap from the C5 to C6, vs. C4 to C5. A terrific car. Much refined on all around drivability

This car in Precision Red is just stunning to look at and thrilling to drive. It has 2 distinct personalities...take it easy and it cruises like a Caddy but step down and it sounds and feels like a Tornado! Nosebleed fast with flat stable handling and with the MSRC suspension the ride quality is excellent. Huge trunk with the top in place makes this a great trip car for 2. Incredible performance value that you can live with, drive every day, get 20MPG and out handle 911s and Ferraris, pack 2 suitcases and golfclubs all for 50K. Don't buy it though if you want European sewing machine type power ...this is American all the way! Vrooom...snarl...VROOMM...blub blub blub.

I've had 85,87,95,97, & 99 Corvette's, they all been great, but this takes it to a completely new level. This is the greatest car I have ever owned. For the price, there is now better car made. I would give it the highest marks on everything.

You could say I am an more familiar with vettes than any dealer and now everything from A to Z. My new C6 is a power monster & after break-in just literally ate up my friends 04 Z06 in a 0-100 & 0-60 time trial. I cant wait to see what the C6 - Z06 version will do. If you owm a C5 pawn it or trade it in before it goes down in value, this is the one you want.

Also own 2000 C5 and 2003 C5 as well as the C6. The C6 is by far superior to the C5 in performance as well as design. It is a total delight to drive and deserves the many stares it garners. Once one gets used to the keyless concept the car is even more of a delight. Navigation system easily understood after the first few "tries".

Fast, agile, and very fun to drive. This is my 13th Corvette and this is by far the best riding and handling one I have ever had. Pricy at MSRP but well worth it compared to Porsche etc

I have driven many exotics in my day..Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini,etc. Ordered the car in March based solely on the early pictures and reviews. Was I ever surprised! Unbelievable power, head turning looks, nice ride from the new Goodyear EMT's. My car is an early one (#1995) and the build quality is every bit as good as others costing many thousand more. Z51 and six speed manual is the way to go. If this isn't the automotive buy of a lifetime, I don't know what is. Thank you Chevrolet, it really is an American Revolution.
