Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration commentsStomp the throttle and the all-wheel drive gives instant grip. Seven-tenths quicker with launch control, which holds revs at 5,500 rpm pre-launch and shifts quicker and more abruptly. How many engines rev to 8,200 rpm these days? Manual shifting is via steering wheel paddles or center console lever (pull back for downshifts). Will hold gears to rev limiter. Glorious downshift throttle blips.
Braking commentsVery firm pedal, excellent feel. Little nosedive and the tires grip hard. No fade. First stop was longest at 106 feet. Third stop (out of five) was shortest at 105 feet. Incredibly consistent distances.
Handling comments"Skid pad: Excellent front grip, good feel from steering. Could hardly get it to rotate at all, even with drop-throttle. But the car is so precise and easy to drive that it didn't matter.
