Executive Bios

Avi Steinlauf

Avi Steinlauf, Chief Executive Officer
Avi Steinlauf is chief executive officer and director of the board for Edmunds. Avi joined the company in 1998 and has progressed through a number of leadership roles throughout his tenure, including chief operating officer, executive vice president of strategy and development, vice president of revenue management, and vice president of marketing. He most recently served as president of Edmunds. Prior to Edmunds, Avi served as a senior industry analyst for Coopers and Lybrand’s Knowledge Strategies Group.

Avi has served as a board member for Digital Content Next since 2006 and is the president of the board of directors at Maimonides Academy. He is also a member of the Golden West Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), where he serves as the communications chairman for YPO’s Automotive Network.

Avi holds an MBA from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and bachelor’s degrees in economics and history from Yeshiva College.

First car:
A blue 1987 Acura Integra with a 1.6 L DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder engine. I loved the pop up headlights!

Seth Berkowitz

Seth Berkowitz, President
Seth Berkowitz serves as president of Edmunds, where he oversees product innovation and drives new business development. Seth joined Edmunds in 2000 and has held a number of leadership roles at the company, most recently serving as executive vice president of business operations. Prior to Edmunds, Seth was a mergers and acquisitions associate at Sullivan and Cromwell in New York.

Seth previously served as president of Maimonides Academy. He also previously served as president of the Young Israel of Century City and continues to sit on its board.

Seth holds a JD from Columbia University School of Law, a master’s degree in history and a bachelor’s degree in English from Yeshiva University.

The first time I ever got behind the wheel, driving my dad's Mercedes 450 SEL.

Lisa Murison

Lisa Murison, Executive Vice President of Operations, Chief Legal & People Officer
Lisa Murison serves as executive vice president of operations, chief legal & people officer for Edmunds, where she is responsible for overseeing the company's human resources department and legal affairs, including corporate governance, business transactions, regulatory matters and compliance, and intellectual property. Lisa also oversees the company's corporate development, procurement and facilities functions. A primary part of her focus is developing solutions to simplify support for the company's operations, including process standardization and automation, in support of the company's financial plans and strategic objectives.

Lisa joined the company in 2016. Prior to Edmunds, Lisa was a Shareholder of Stradling, Yocca, Carlson & Rauth, P.C., having spent the first 10 years of her career in the New York and Los Angeles offices of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.

Lisa holds a B.A. and LL.B. from the University of Cape Town and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School.

Allen Ollis

Allen Ollis, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary
Allen Ollis is executive vice president, chief financial officer and assistant secretary at Edmunds. He joined Edmunds.com in 2000 and has held numerous leadership roles in the finance department during his tenure, including controller and vice president of finance.

Prior to Edmunds, Allen served as corporate controller for JPS Industries, a public company engaged in the manufacture of various commercial and industrial products used in the electronics and construction industry, and as controller of JPS's former subsidiary, JPS Automotive.

Allen is a CPA (inactive) and practiced public accounting from 1985 until 1992 with Deloitte and Touche. He holds BA and MS degrees in accounting from Appalachian State University.

What car do you currently drive?
2008 Infiniti QX56

What is your favorite car?
1963 Chevy Impala. It's the car I first learned to drive.

Eugene Park

Eugene Park, Chief Product Officer
Eugene Park is chief product officer at Edmunds, where he is responsible for the core products and features that make car buying easier with Edmunds. Since 2008, Eugene has been responsible for leading the company's major product development initiatives including key website redesigns that have resulted in improved user experiences. He began his tenure at Edmunds in 2005 as the director of technical project management, overseeing all IT infrastructure and software engineering projects.

Prior to joining Edmunds.com, he was in charge of project management for Interactive Video Technologies (formerly Digital Lava).

Eugene holds a BA from UCLA and an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business.

Do you have any interesting car shopping stories?
In 2002, I paid $3000 over sticker price to be one of the first owners of the new MINI Cooper. Our pricing analysts would probably have advised against this.

George Kang

George Kang, Chief Revenue Officer
George Kang is chief revenue officer for Edmunds, where he leads a team responsible for optimizing and growing Edmunds' current revenue streams as well as exploring future partnerships and expanding opportunities in the market. He has been with Edmunds since 2001, and previously served as the company's senior vice president, OEM business.

Before joining Edmunds, he served as vice president, general manager of Primedia Automotive Digital. Earlier, he worked for Nissan and Mercedes-Benz in a variety of product development and marketing roles.

George earned his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and earned his undergraduate B.S. in Business from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.

Currently driving:
Fiat 500e — There are days when I wish I was driving a different car, but every morning while I am in the 405 carpool lane by myself it reminds me that my Fiat electric has its perks.

First car:
First car I ever drove was a Cream Color Buick Estate Wagon. First car I ever owned was a silver Mazda MX6, which I fondly called the "silver bullet."

Stephen Felisan

Stephen Felisan, Chief Technology Officer
Stephen Felisan is chief technology officer at Edmunds, where is responsible for Edmunds’ software engineering, technical operations, enterprise information systems and data operations groups. Stephen joined Edmunds.com in 2005 and has played an important role in the reinvention of key operational units within the company.

Stephen has more than 20 years of technology leadership experience.

Stephen holds a BS degree in Microbiology & Molecular Genetics from University of California, Los Angeles.

Alison Anziska

Alison Anziska, Vice President, Marketing and Analytics
Alison Anziska serves as Vice President, Marketing and Analytics at Edmunds, where she is responsible for consumer and B2B marketing at Edmunds. In this role, Alison oversees Edmunds' brand integration, public relations, data insights and creative design teams as well as analytics related to website traffic, dealer subscriber and advertising business analytics.  Under her guidance, these teams tell the Edmunds brand story to consumers, dealer partners and OEMs to promote the company’s promise to Make Car Buying Easy.  Alison joined the company in 2006 and has served in various roles throughout the Product and Marketing organizations including Product Director of Used Car Product, and the Director of the Edmunds Insider registration and email programs.

Alison currently serves on the board of a women's health initiative as well as a Girls' High School on the Westside.

She received her BA in History from Columbia College at Columbia University.

Alistair Weaver

Alistair Weaver, Vice President, Editorial and Editor-In-Chief
Alistair Weaver serves as vice president of editorial and editor-in-chief at Edmunds, where he leads a team of over 30 content producers supporting the Edmunds' site and its owned social media and video platforms. This team is responsible for written editorial reviews and features, vehicle testing, video production, photography and social media.

He is an award-winning journalist, producer and on-camera host with 20 years of experience contributing to some of the world's leading automotive and men's lifestyle publications and broadcast outlets. Before joining Edmunds, Alistair was the founder and CEO of Gaucho Productions, creating television documentaries, editorial, branded content and events for leading consumer brands.

Alistair has a degree in history from Oxford University and spent more than four years racing in the Caterham series in Europe.

Jamie Epstein

Jamie Epstein, Vice President, Employment Experience
Jamie Epstein is Vice President, Employment Experience, where she is responsible for aligning the company's people strategy with current and future business objectives. Her primary focus is supporting talent, culture and leadership development across the organization.

Epstein joined the company in 2015, where she served as Director, Employment Experience and later Executive Director, Employment Experience, focusing on Learning & Organization Development in which she implemented company-wide initiatives such as a new performance management process, leadership development program and annual learning event.

Prior to Edmunds, Epstein was Director of Leadership & Organization Development at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Epstein holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern California, Annenberg School of Communication.

Katti Ehoff Fields

Katti Ehoff Fields, Vice President, Dealer Operations
Katti Ehoff Fields is vice president of dealer operations where she is responsible for overseeing the onboarding, implementation, and overall success of Edmunds' growing customer base of thousands of dealers. She also oversees the company's Customer Care function, which provides responsive support to the Edmunds consumer audience at every step throughout their car shopping journey. Katti's customer centered approach and strong emphasis on analytics and storytelling helps guide the Edmunds operations team in delivering best-in-class service and products in an efficient and scalable way.

Katti joined Edmunds in January of 2001 as the web production manager and throughout her tenure at the company has led project management, strategic planning, product and sales operations functions. Before joining Edmunds, she worked for Science Applications International Corporation as a scientist developing websites and systems for government clients including the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Katti holds an MBA and an M.S. in Technology Management from University of Maryland, and a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Hood College. She currently serves on the faculty and leadership board for the Customer Experience Certificate Program at Rutgers.

What do you currently drive?
A 1956 Chevrolet Bel-Air Beauville Wagon (fits 9 passengers with ease!)

What was your first car?
A cream colored 1982 Toyota Tercel Wagon with a blue plaid interior. My love for wagons runs deep!

Nick Gorton

Nick Gorton, Vice President, Product Innovation
Nick Gorton is vice president of product innovation for Edmunds, where he leads an agile team of product managers and developers in conceiving, testing and building new solutions for both dealer and consumer challenges.

Nick has more than 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, including more than 10 years spent in a dealership, and has previously held an AFIP certification. Previously, Nick was a co-founder and the CEO of the startup Carcode SMS, an automotive focused text-messaging platform acquired by Edmunds in 2014.

Nick earned his BA and MBA from Northwood University, a private university known for educating automotive industry leaders.

Scott Fanelli

Scott Fanelli, Vice President, Dealer Sales
Scott Fanelli is vice president of dealer sales at Edmunds, where he is responsible for developing the company's strategic sales plan to promote sales growth by increasing both product penetration and dealer count.

Scott joined the company in 2010, serving as regional director of the southeast and then divisional director of the south. In 2013, he received the President's Club award for Highest Retention Rate, and as regional director he oversaw the largest dealer region at Edmunds. Prior to Edmunds, Scott served as area manager for CarsDirect and regional director for Openlane.

Scott holds a BS in finance from Florida State University.

Xiao Sun

Xiao Sun, Vice President, Corporate Strategy
Xiao Sun is Vice President, Corporate Strategy, where he is responsible for strategic planning, operational improvement, and financial analysis. Xiao joined Edmunds in 2017, with a focus on supporting initiatives across the OEM and dealer businesses. Before joining Edmunds, Xiao was previously Director of Sales and Marketing at SimplyInsured and a consultant with McKinsey and Co.

Xiao attended The Ohio State University and is a proud Buckeye.
