Hi Maverick22. Volvo Finance's August buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2012 S60 T6 with 15,000 miles per year are .00157 and 57%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Does anyone know the residual and money factor for August 2011 on a lease of a Volvo S60 all wheel drive? I am supposed to go have some negotiations tomorrow so I am just trying to get some ideas of whats reasonable to negotiate for? Thanks Maverick22
Now that it's end of the year, I'm wondering how much off of the MSRP dealers will be willing to come down if they have the car on their lot? Is $2,000 - $2,500 reasonable to expect (without other large fees that add to the out-the-door price - doc fees, etc.). My husband would receive the military discount which is $1200 in and of itself. Also, we're thinking of ordering a ... Read More
Hi mascraw. US Bank's November buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2012 Volvo S60 T5 with 10,000 miles per year are .00099 and 59%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
I have (correction, my wife and I have had) twenty-nine Audi's, three BMW's and two VW's since the mid 1970's. We currently have a 2011 Infiniti FX35 AWD Premium and a 2012 Acura SH-AWD Advance. The Acura, upon first test drive (in a day with several test drives over identical routes and speeds, etc) was "close to" a 2011 Audi S4 Premium+ without any additional options (that is, it did not ... Dear Car_man, Would you please let me know the current (Nov.-Dec.) lease residual and MF for a 2012 Volvo S60 T5 with premium package, metallic paint, and blind-spot monitor (MSRP $35,175) for a 36 month/10,000 miles per year lease term. I'm in SC. Thanks much!
NDIrish03, I believe that Volvo's June programs are exactly the same as its May programs. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
All I am saying is I drove a 2011 S4 Premium Plus, followed by a 2011 Cadillac CTS/4, followed by a 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD Advance. My reactions, without price considerations: #1 S4 if it were the Prestige version #2 TL, as is #3 Cadillac -- nice to look at, but too much emphasis on lux, not enough on sport With price factored in: #1 TL SH-AWD Advance (which includes 19" ... Hello robert188. When negotiating your deal on this car, make sure to take advantage of the $3,000 dealer cash that is currently available on it. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences ... Read More
Dear Car_Man, Can you give me the details on the June 2011 S60 T5 leases? My local dealer told me 63% residual and .00227 money factor, but I think he is trying to hold a point on me possibly? I think last months money factor was .00183, so I doubt it increased that much....correct? NDIrish03
After driving my 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD with Advance package and automatic transmission for 8,000 miles, I can make a few observations. The car has been reliable, though lately it rattles, perhaps from the sunroof. The seats are comfortable. The HVAC and in-car electronics are excellent. On the highway it gets about 27 miles a gallon; in town, about 17 miles a gallon. The engine and transmission are both quiet and ... Read More
This thread is more than a tad interesting since I, for one and apparently MORE than one, seem to find some surprise that the TSX and a 3 series BMW (even though it is the "bad" one) merit cross-shopping. The TL SH-AWD seems like the obvious choice to cross shop an AWD BMW 3 series with, assuming one must cross shop an Acura and a BMW. But, of the choices offered ... Read More
Any info on rates for October? Looking for a 36-month lease with 15k miles per year. Thanks.
Short answer, no. At this point, an Audi A4 2.0T Prestige + SLine with everything on it except ADS would be a great car. I have ADS, I have, currently both a 2009 A4 Prestige + Sport Pakage (that has ADS) and a 2012 Acura TL Advance. In 2009 but not in 2011 or 2012 Audi A4 2.0T Prestige + Sport or SLine packages, I see less of a need for ... Read More
While not the universal answer to the many complaints about the weight of these cars we go on about, I suspect there is some justification for the piling on of pounds these machines have endured over the years. Among the reasons are the addition of more and more safety devices, electronic nannies (most of which I love), increased sound deadening, more content (which may be luxury content, increased unsprung weight (from ... Hi rnmt. Through May 2nd, Volvo's buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 C70 T5 .00048 and 55%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier. The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a 2012 S60 T5 are .00183 and 65%. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Hi ndirish03. Please see my previous post for the information that you're looking for. Thanks. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
I wonder why you test drove the Acura TSX but not the Acura TL. I am no expert in this field, but it seems to me the TL probably compares "better" to an Audi A4, BMW 3, Cadillac CTS and Infiniti G (etc, etc). After having owned 29 Audis, I sent emails to dealers requesting quotes on an Acura TL "advance" AWD, an Audi A4 Prestige with sport package, an Infiniti ... Read More
Car_Man, Can you give me the details for September's lease rates on a 2012 Volvo S60 T5 for 36 months and 15K miles? Thanks.
Just bought the 2011 s60 t6 with run flats and no it is not loud. 2011 and 2012 are the same. The car is very quiet and the ride is really smooth. I was concerned with the lack of a spare, but I am very confident of Volvo and the run flat technology. I hope.
Hi fantom. Let's answer the easy questions first :). Yes, the loyalty cash is available on leases. Volvo's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 S60 T5 with 10,000 miles per year are .00157 and 59%, respectively. Using the prices that you mentioned in your post, an MSRP of $36,705 and a selling price of $33,482 ($500 over invoice minus the ... Read More
You sure can, bxxxmartin. Volvo's February buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 Volvo S60 T6 AWD with 15,000 miles per year are .00157 and 56%, respectively. I don't believe that Volvo is currently providing support on 2 year leases of this car at this time. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Hi. Could I get the must current money factor and residual values on a 2011 Volvo S60 T6 AWD, 36 and 24 months, with 15k miles per year. Thanks!
Hi chadl. Volvo's January buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 S60 with 15,000 miles per year are .00157 and 56%, respectively. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Today in the parking lot at work I noticed a beautiful black 2011 Volvo S60. Never driven one so their dynamics could be trash...but it sure was nice looking; it definitely looked more modern than my ol' IS350. Then at lunch I saw a beautiful black Lincoln MKS. I'm not certain what trim level they have but it was really gorgeous. Maybe it was because they were freshly polished black cars...or ... Read More
volvobuff and alltorque: I have actually considered the Gothenburg (or Madrid) option, but current financial situation will not allow. I assume the Yank bureaucrats allow the Euro-diesels and small gas rigs across the pond, right? Petrol in Minnesota is now around USD 2.80/gallon, and diesel is around 3.10, about 10-11% higher, which would be more than offset by 20 or 25% (?) higher mileage. I bought a new 2005 Jetta diesel ... Read More
That's exactly right. One good if perverse way to educate oneself on this matter is to take OSD on a new Volvo in Gothenburg. You do get a full tank of gas when you take delivery of your car, but the first time you have to fill up your new baby with $2.00/liter petrol and do the math, that $8.00 per gallon gas really gets your attention. Furthermore, in many if ... Read More
vwdawg, Your logic is faultless - as ever. Maybe that nice Mr Obama will hike fuel taxes to fund his Welfare programme. We recently got rid of our Socialist government and are now having to pay the price for 13 years of disastrous over-spending. Hey, alltorque: Thanks for the update. The problem with the American market, I think, is not Volvo's, but our own. Gasoline is still cheapo cheapo here. In Minnesota it's currently under $2.75 USD (and most everyone even complains about that!). There aren't many V8 engines sold these days, but smaller SUVs with V6s getting around 22-26 MPG are still quite popular. There are some smaller sedans with 32-35 MPG popping up, ... Read More
Vwdawg, Asked my local Volvo dealer if he knew anything. Went like this : "Do you know if these diesels will be available in the American market?" "Well, they have the current ones so I guess they'll get the new ones". "No, they don't have any at present". "You're joking, aren't you ?" "No. Absolutely serious". "Well that's just stupid; most of our sales are diesels. What do they sell then ... Read More
Hey alltorque: Have you heard any scuttlebutt about Volvo bringing these diesel rigs to the North American market? I love my old '01 S60, but it would be nice to move into a diesel at some point. volvophile1
On Saturday, here in U.K., I attended a Volvo S60 Track Day - FOC courtesy of Volvo. Around 40 guests, a bunch of hard-core pro drivers and maybe a dozen of the new S60's - all diesel - either D3 165bhp or D5 205bhp, (twin turbo) and all Geartronics, all FWD. Pro drivers and guests put the cars through some brutal high-speed handling tests and we were all amazed at the ... Read More
by my count 2011 is a year that brings nothing really new.. the new S60 "naughty volvo" kind of cool i guess but its not going to win in performance. Lexus IS has new commercials that talk about its new performance package but its the same car... The G changed the front end a bit for 2010, but nothing has really changed-- i guess the new performance line is kind of ... Read More
Thanks for the link to 2011 Volvo S60 T6 AWD. I read it the first time you posted. The new S60 looks promising. I think its T6 engine power output -- 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque -- is among the top of this group, especially the torque. IMO, Volvo did a fine job in both exterior styling and interior layout. As to handling, we will have to wait until ... Read More
