The owners lounge is usually behind and your baby is already in the next step. I have ordered 2 and that has always been the case. I got my 2011 Mini Countryman All4 in about 12 weeks from order. And my 2009 Cooper S took about 10 weeks. Just depends on when it gets into production and how long it has to wait for the boat ride. Enjoy it when you ... Read More

Finally I am a member of the only Club to which I have ever wanted to belong: Mini Cooper Owner. I just bought a 2009 Clubman S and I love it. I have wanted a Mini, but particularly the Clubman, for three years. There is just something about that car. It's chic, classy, sporty, hip, fast, ecologically smart, fun, elegant, different and groovy. A car for those of us who think ... Read More

OSU18, You might check the Indy dealer. I bought my 2009 Clubman there in January. Cannot say what kind of a deal you'd get today, but the salesman was very patient, letting take three different cars for test drives. He was pretty good at listening to us and was certainly not pushing us as some sales people do. Urging? Maybe but no hard sell. My only complaint is the time it ... Read More

I was looking to buy a Clubman S, but have not found just want I want. The Cincinnati dealer had almost 60 new units in stock, but won't budge on MSRP. Too bad, because there are a couple that would work for me. I won't go back there. Very arrogant attitude in my opinion. And I'm a cash buyer, w/ no trade. Unbelievable. I have seen some dealers willing to go ... Read More

I believe someone else asked you about your LOCATION - can't help much without that info. I just bought a Clubman S from Cincinnati MINI, and there, they sell the cars MSRP, e.g. as shown at the website (so that includes destination). Period. In fact, while I was signing my paperwork, the dealer stated that they just finished selling to two folks in CA, due to high markups on the west ... Read More

Article Comments - 2008 BMW 128i vs. 2008 Mini Cooper S Clubman

  • The choice for me is very simple

My daily driver is a 2003 330Ci, manual, sport package. I love it. I'm 55 YO and have owned many BMW's, starting with a 1979 528i that was a lot of fun. My wife and daughter drive Mini's (both Coopers with automatics) and I've spent many hours driving them. I have a 2009 Cooper S Clubman on order. Here's why: 1. Gas mileage. I have a long commute. 2. Back seat ... Read More
