How to get a good price? First read the information on carbuyingtips.com. It will tell you how to go about finding and negoiating for a new car. Great source that gave me the confidence to find and get a very good deal. Remember it is your money and they will do anything to get it and as much of it as possible, so you have to be ruthless. buy now or next month?
Written by: aruca on Jul 29, 2009 7:39:14 AM
I'm trying to decide whether to buy a new 2009 RDX now or wait until next month. The sales tax here in MA is increasing next month, however I figured there may be a chance at Acura incentives next month. Thoughts?

dep, I agree that quote was crazy, but remember Acura pulled the $2500 cash incentive and interest rates, so 31-32k might be tough, even though we all know those are the numbers we have seen over the past few months ... I too am finally ready to buy and will probably no longer consider the RDX because of Acura's dumb decision to take away the cash rebate best bet is to ... Read More

You got a SCREAMING deal! Congrats!! I wanted to get the roof-rack, but my dealer wanted ~$600 for it alone after a discount so I skipped it! They blamed it on the installation labor. I also paid for the side molding. ..Grrrrr.. I know what you're saying about having a professional, courteous salesperson to deal with. When a person is dropping >$30k, the salesperson shouldn't believe that he's doing you a ... Read More

$31.9k was for a 2009 w/Tech before tax and other fees. There was a $2500 dealer incentive from Honda in March when I bought. I got worn down from the entire process and the taxes and license fee increase gave me an incentive to buy. They also offered a non-Tech for $27k. I'm not sure if that was for the last 2008 on their lot (sold I believe), but I'm sure ... Read More

2009 acura price
Written by: thulasi on Apr 22, 2009 2:23:20 PM
Hi Guys, I bought an RDX with Tech Pkg from Frank Leta in St. Louis, MO for $32,661.00. This includes administrative fee ($99.00). I still need to pay the state taxes. I paid $876.00 extra for the roof rack, splash guards, and bumper applique. Dealer installed Bodyside Molding free of charge. The vehicle has to be brought from another dealer in Tennesse. I did't pay any extra charge for that. Another ... Read More

Hi Mark, thanks for sharing your buying experience on the RDX. I also live in the Bay Area and is very interested in buying a RDX. How do you like your RDX so far? May I ask who at Sunnyvale Accura did you work with? Is $31.9K out the door or this is before tax and fees? Is this a 2009 model? Thanks again for your help.

Hi mazzman1. This vehicle's lease program varies by term and mileage allowance. You never mentioned what either of these variables are, so for now I will assume that you are interested in a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles per year. Let me know if you want something different. Hi gooch5. The best way to negotiate a good deal on a lease is to negotiate as low a selling price as possible and then have the dealer calculate your monthly payment using the vehicle's buy rate lease money factor. The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you were paying cash for or financing them. Are you interested in a 2008 or a 2009 MDX? If you ... Read More

Well, let me tell you -- it ain't "easy". My 1300 includes the same stuff as yours: the bank fee is 595 (+tax), first month and DMV. DMV charges vary, but 160 seems to be the average. NJ dealers are outright crazy -- I hear numbers like 1947/523 (Springfield) and 1577/521 (DCH Montclair). One more thing I sometimes hear is that Blue/Taupe is out of stock and why don't I wait ...
