I was hit on my driver's side door by a drunk driver at 45mph. The car that hit me was totaled, and while airbags did deploy, I walked away without a scratch. On star in the vehicle called emergency dispatch on my behalf after detecting the crash. The glass did not even shatter. I am grateful for all the safety features on the Volvo and purchased my 2nd XC90 after the accident and will … be a lifelong supporter of Volvo.
