Lemon
The engine blew after 2month's. I say don't buy. After I paid 14,500 cash the dealer wanted nothing to do with me.

Great car if you have the money to fix it
Fun little car greats for a teens first car. Zippy. Handles well. Super safe. Only issue is the maintenance is very high. If you make a lot of money to fix these kinds of cars they aren’t bad just know your going to spend 10s of thousands on maintenance

No VW ever again for me.
Overall this car is not mechanically sound. Recalls are a nightmare. VW has a problem with recalls. They said my model was not on the recall list even though other models that same year has the same problem. Body very prone to door dings. Heated seats stopped working within a year and are 500 bucks to replace. Brakes squeaked since the first day I drove it off the lot brand new and the VW “expert” technicians said that’s normal. And I’m talking about squeak. Sounded like metal to metal. Don’t let good looks fool you. Terribly made cars.
