2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
This car is the best overall
performance car under $50000. Other
cars may be able to beat it in a
straight line, but throw in some
curves and GOODBYE! I considered the
Subaru WRX STI due to similiar
performance, but the "Corolla with an
air scoop" uncool styling turned me
away.
The Evo is a true production race
car. I owned a Mustang GT years ago
that was fast … in a straight line, but
that is all the former pony cars
brought to the table. The Evo brings
the whole performance driving package
(acceleration, braking, cornering, and
ALL-WHEEL DRIVE!)
