2024 Mazda CX-90
Rented a cx90 with 1800 miles on it out of SRQ Airport. Exchanged it after a week for a Ford SUV.
The Mazda was anemically powered with a touchy accelerator that didn't make the car go when you applied light pressure. If you gave it more gas , it felt like it was jumping forward.
The ride was comfortable but did not instill confidence that it handled well.
Very difficult to gauge … distance from the front of the vehicle to an obstacle. Needs a bit of slope on the front hood. It started beeping at the driver from four feet away.
The center console control system was a joke. Not intuitive at all. Had it a week and never figured out how to easily change the FM stations or how to create a station preference list.
The navigation screen did not show all the street names and I could not figure out how to adjust screen size to make them appear. Not very useful when traveling in an unfamiliar place.
