Quiet, smooth, and fuel efficient

2022 Lexus UX 250h
It is a great car to drive, with comfy seats and quiet interior. I love the birch colored seats with black dashboard and console - the lighter interior keeps the cabin cooler in the summers, and the black (I got the washi trim) looks cool. It just looks luxurious. Only minor complaint is that the cabin itself is small, so if you have the build of a football linebacker or heavyweight … wrestler, this car will feel snug especially if you have folks sitting in the back seat. It was perfectly fine for me driving a full carload of 5 - my teen boys and their friends. With the safety features (automatic braking, lane departure warning, etc.) I feel incredibly safe in despite it being on the smaller size. A lot of folks complain about the lack of acceleration and power, but honestly, who cares? You get a hybrid to be fuel efficient, not race around like you are too important to spare 5 extra seconds to reach the speed limit. Having said that, I am perfectly content (as a former Los Angeles driver who had a horrendous commute on the 405 and often found myself frequently doing multiple lane changes in quick succession just to get anywhere in a decent amount of time) with the acceleration - the smaller size certainly helps with maneuvering in traffic as well as parking. Given the fuel economy, I also love not wasting my time in line at the pump - talk about a time saver!
