2012 Jeep Liberty
I largely agree with the professional reviews. That said I've had 38 vehicles and have owned my 2009 Liberty Sport since it was a year old. The longest I've ever owned a vehicle. It is a very capable off road and snow vehicle. It has taken beating and is holding its own at 190k miles. Can't be beat by any competitive models off road or towing. It's towed well over it's limit on several … occasions. I wish there was a modern small rear drive 4x4 with this much capability. And for the record the Xterra is not even close off road or towing.
