Nowhere near as fuel efficient as expected

2022 Hyundai Tucson Plug-In Hybrid
We bought the Tucson Ultimate Plug In. Definitely not what we expected. Overall a nice riding vehicle but that’s about it. Too many screen distractions. GPS is horrible - we were told we would need to upgrade the GPS at a cost of $400…we just got the car (new) 6 months ago. Ongoing discussion with Hyundai. Not good on fuel at all and we alternate using the battery. Drove it to Florida … and it seemed we were constantly filling it. Only 53km on electric. Nowhere on cluster can you check oil life and even though using synthetic oil, has to be changed every 8,000km. Already had a thermostat replacement (9,000km in). Does not compare to our other car - a Honda Civic. Would not recommend to anyone nor would I buy another Hyundai.
