2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid
We all know the CR-V is an amazing car. I'm writing this review because I've had my 2020 Touring Hybrid for 16 months, since March 2020. I've ready many times that people's "real" mileage isn't meeting the EPA specs, yet I am averaging 38-40 mpg, right on target. I've driven many different scenarios: in crawling traffic, 3 hr weekend trips at highway speeds in the mountains or to the … beach, with an empty trunk, packed full for college move in, and of course many local trips around DC and the 'burbs (ranging 1-45 miles.) Even air conditioning doesn't negatively impact the mileage. In the past 16 months I've probably had 2 tanks where my average was less than 38 mpg (it was around 35 mpg instead) so I am not sure what others are complaining about?
My least favorite thing about this car is the tone when using the electric mode (to warn pedestrians), but it does work and is required. The sound is more pleasant than Toyota's, but both are too loud in my opinion.
