2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid
I was able to save over $4K by purchasing a leftover 2020 CR-V HYBRID Touring last month (January 2021). I had considered buying a 2021 Venza Limited but I didn’t want to spend over $40K on a vehicle. The CR-V Hybrid is smooth and quiet and handling is quite good. It’s a great sized vehicle. The leather seats are super comfortable. The backseat is spacious. I like the remote start, … which will come in handy in the FL summer, automatic wipers and high beams, and all of the safety features Honda has placed in this vehicle. I also like the push button gear selectors. There are a few downsides in my opinion. I am not getting the posted average MPG as stated on the Window Sticker. The infotainment system is a little slow. It takes a bit for the directional guidelines to appear after you put the car in reverse. I wish the reverse camera was placed a bit higher on the back of the car so that you would get a higher/larger view behind you. The Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) system works totally different than other vehicles I have had and or driven. On other vehicles I’ve had, when a vehicle is fast approaching your vehicle, the BSM icon lights up prior to the car actually getting in your blindspot. The BSM in the CR-V only lights up when a vehicle is actually in your blindspot. I am still getting used to it. As a Top of the line model with a sticker price relatively close to $40K, I think all windows should be automatic up/down, not just the front ones. Ventilated front seats should be standard. There also should be a light in the glove box. Every vehicle has its pro’s and cons. There is a perfect one out there. If it weren’t for the big discrepancy regarding MPG, I would give the CR-V 4.75 stars
